Is there ever a better time than now to be talking about the fragmentation of control frameworks across financial institutions deploying AI in compliance? I think not.... Great to be on stage at the Arena International Events Group AI in Financial Service Conference in Stockholm discussing the importance and risks of not having a secure controls infrastructure in place when deploying AI within financial institutions. We covered what defensibility-grade, integrated controls look like, where most institutions have integration gaps, and what the evidence chain needs to look like when AI is operating within regulated functions. See you next year 😄 Behavox

  • Voting closes today at 5:00pm UK time for the RegTech Insight Awards Europe 2026, where Behavox is proud to be shortlisted in 12 categories. This recognition reflects a clear shift in the market. As regulatory expectations rise, firms need compliance technology that is more unified, more effective, and better equipped for the demands of the AI era. Behavox was built for that shift, bringing together communications surveillance, trade surveillance, compliant archiving, and regulatory controls on a more modern foundation. If you believe the future of compliance depends on stronger, more connected control environments, we would value your support. 🔗 Vote here: https://lnkd.in/e5qcJ4kc RegTech Insight, from A-Team Group

  • Michael Talbert took the stage at the Data Management Summit London today to join the panel on governing unstructured data. One question we keep putting to the room : If a regulator asked you to trace a regulatory obligation through your control design, monitoring, and remediation - with evidence at every step - how long would that take? Hours, or weeks? Most firms know the answer. The problem isn't bad data. It's fragmented controls. Visit Behavox at Booth 4 and ask us about the eight falsifiable tests any firm can run against their own programme - and find out exactly where your defensibility gaps are, before a regulator does. Not at the event? Get in touch to request a copy of the eight tests and five-level maturity model. https://lnkd.in/edjczpuN #DMSLondon #DataManagement #UnifiedControls

  • AI deployment in Nordic financial services is accelerating. The controls infrastructure around it is not always keeping pace. Detection in one system. Policy in another. Archive somewhere else. Investigations requiring manual reconstruction across all of them. When a regulator asks for the complete control story - an end-to-end evidence trail from obligation to outcome - most institutions cannot produce it quickly or cleanly. That is not an AI problem. It is a controls problem. Today at the AI in Financial Services Conference Nordics in Stockholm, we are presenting on exactly this: what defensibility-grade integrated controls look like, where most institutions have integration gaps, and what the evidence chain needs to look like when AI is operating in regulated functions. We are also benchmarking AI governance maturity across European financial institutions in 2026. Visit the Behavox stand for details. Arena International Events Group | #AIinFinancialServices

  • Lloyds Banking Group has renewed its multi-year partnership with Behavox for continued use of Behavox Mosaic Smart Data, our front-office intelligence platform. The renewal reflects the value of combining unified trade data with real-time, personalized insight on a control-grade data foundation. As firms navigate increasingly complex trading environments, stronger data architecture and better decision support become even more important, particularly when they help teams identify revenue-generating opportunities and act with greater speed and context. As Tim Townend, Head of Macro Sales at Lloyds Banking Group, noted, “Behavox Mosaic plays a key role in our ability to extract timely, actionable insights from complex trading data. By simplifying how our teams access and analyse information, Mosaic supports our broader goals of innovation, efficiency and delivering greater value to clients.” We are proud to continue supporting Lloyds with technology built to deliver both intelligence and scale, and we thank the Lloyds team for their continued partnership. • Behavox is on-site at the SIFMA C&L Annual Seminar 2026 this week in Orlando, discussing how compliance, legal, and surveillance leaders are meeting rising expectations around AI governance, defensibility, and control effectiveness. CCOs are carrying more responsibility with less clarity as scrutiny increases around AI use in compliance workflows. Firms need controls that are documented, auditable, and easier to defend. Behavox helps firms reduce fragmentation across trade surveillance, communications surveillance, archiving, and policy workflows on a single platform. If your team is rethinking how to unify controls, improve investigation consistency, and strengthen defensibility, stop by Booth # 120 and speak with Sheldon Buytenhuys, Michelle Hussain, Richard Colucci, Heaven Schott and Tammy Pfaff. 🤖 Live from Day 2 of Advanced Model Risk Europe We’ve kicked off the morning with a strong session from Peter Quell, exploring how firms can effectively leverage machine learning for time series and market risk, and what this means for model development and performance. Followed by an engaging session from Michael Talbert at Behavox, who tackled the AI approval problem, highlighting the challenges firms face in validating and approving AI models within existing governance frameworks. Now into the networking break, the room is buzzing with conversation sharing insights and perspectives from the morning sessions. #AMREU #ModelRisk #AI #MachineLearning #RiskManagement

  • Wealth management has transformed. Clients are global. Advisers are digital. Firms want AI-assisted tools that improve service and productivity. But most wealth firms are still running compliance on a stack that was built for a very different era. Policy tools. Approval workflows. Surveillance systems. Archives. All disconnected. None sharing a data layer or a control model. When something goes wrong - a trade, a communication, a conflict - teams reconstruct the story manually across systems. → That is not a governance process. It is archaeology. Behavox's John Showell is presenting at Arena International Events Group's Digital Integration in Wealth Management Summit on March 17 — sharing a framework for what the modern compliance stack should look like for wealth firms scaling AI, cross-border clients, and adviser productivity. If you're attending, catch our keynote presentation on March 17 at 2:00 PM and find our team at Booth 15. If not, we'll share the framework after. #WealthManagement #ComplianceTech #AIGovernance #DigitalWealth #RegTech #FinancialServices

  • AI adoption is no longer a technology problem. It's an approval problem. Across 100+ bank AI deployments, the pattern is consistent: the hardest part isn't building the AI. It's getting it approved by model risk. The failure modes are almost always structural, not technical: • Late MRM involvement • Use case misclassification • Documentation built after the fact, not during • Explainability gaps that validators can't work around None of these are failures of model quality. They are failures of process design. And they are preventable. We've published a piece ahead of Center for Financial Professionals (CeFPro) Advanced Model Risk Europe, covering what we've seen, where approvals fail, and what good looks like for regulated AI use cases. Link in comments. Framework available on the day - visit the Behavox booth from March 17-18, 2026 in London. #ModelRisk #AIGovernance #FinancialServices #RegTech #MRM #AICompliance
