30 videos. 3 data-backed brief updates. 0 creative directors harmed in the process. This is what smart influencer partnerships look like: not more control, more clarity.
the difference between good influencer content and great influencer content?? ad it's in the DETAILS baby 🤏🙂↕️ it’s the pattern recognition and tiny tweaks… video length, the pacing, when you introduce the product. there are ways to be SMART about influencer partnerships, without dictating the full video 🫢 so I did a case study on Charlotte Tilbury Beauty... not only because it’s a beloved creator-first brand, but because there can be a limit to the style of content created – so you have to get cleverrr about the details ‼️ to do it I ran 30 videos through Aggero (ad), a v interesting and v cool software that analyses the verbal and visuals of a video to tell you what is *literally* driving and draining. I love using insights like this to update briefs, allowing them to be data-informed without being overly prescriptive: → wait 3+ seconds before showing product → minimum 45+ second videos → messaging to focus on product efficacy and education I knew in my bones long-form beauty was best but to have the data is *chefs kiss*. what data piqued your interest? 👀 oh and plz lmk which BRANDS you want me to do more case studies like this of 👇🏻 (p.s you can have a play here: https://lnkd.in/ej4p23wS)

Reposting this because Cristian just casually dropped a supplements cheat code. And now I can’t unsee bad first frames. 😅
I’m not a hardcore fitness guy. But I’ve spent enough time looking at #supplement content to notice something: Most performance differences don’t come from better claims. They come from better first frames. We scanned a batch of supplement-style videos and the patterns were consistent across top performers: → The product is visible immediately → The video starts with action (mixing, pouring, adding to a container) → Close-up + eye-level framing → Warm, clean visuals → Often: no face in the first second In simple terms, the winners don’t “introduce” the product. They use it. And the underperformers tend to do the opposite: → Face first → Medium shot → Holding the product and posing → The “what is this?” moment comes too late People don’t watch these videos. They decide. And the first second does most of the work. If you run influencer or UGC for supplements: Are you optimizing creative based on opinions… or on patterns that repeat across winners? P.S. Not me in the photo. If it was, I’d be selling a lot more protein powder.

Who - What - How. A framework valid decades ago and valid now. But served with better tools! Thanks Jess Coffman for your take on Aggero AI solution for improved creative performance.
This is the most valuable AI tool in my tech stack right now, And it doesn’t create a thing. It analyzes it. Everyone's using AI to make more content, But in DTC today, creative is everything. It’s your ads, your organic, your creators, your TikTok Shop strategy. So the real bottleneck isn't creation. Its clarity. You don't need more videos, You need to know which ones are: → Driving your conversions → Draining your resources That's why the most important AI tool I'm recommending right now isn't ChatGPT or Claude, or even OpenArt. It's Aggero (ad), because it tells me WHY content performs the way it does. Aggero highlights: → What hooks are grabbing attention → What formats work at different stages of the funnel → Angles worth scaling → And what CTAs are actually driving action. Fast-growing brands need tools that cut their workload in half, And provide real information that drives action. This is that tool! If creative drives your brand (and in 2026, it should), Prioritize truth and clarity over volume and guesswork today. Try it out yourself for free today: https://lnkd.in/eFMJKYym

In the last 2 weeks I stopped guessing which videos would work and started using real data and the results were genuinely eye-opening! We all know how hard it is to keep up when you’re pushing out loads of content. Trying to figure out what actually makes a video perform (or flop) across dozens of Reels/TikToks is almost impossible to do manually. So I’ve been testing Aggero on a batch of real beauty brand videos and partnered with their CEO, Cristian Manea, to dig into the why behind video performance. Here’s what I did: Pulled together a full set of UGC + paid videos (not just the winners) Analysed them for repeatable patterns - from what creators were saying to how they were saying it. Turned the learnings into clearer briefs I can actually give creators! Some of the most useful findings: ✅ Videos that mentioned the product benefit early saw a +16.5% lift ❌ Personal stories that didn’t link back to the product saw an -18% drop ✅ Hooks with expressive facial cues in the first 5 seconds delivered a +62% engagement lift The biggest change for me: I’ve stopped approving content on gut feel and started using a simple, data-backed checklist (hook, early benefit, single clear point, no wandering storylines). I’ve shared the breakdown in the carousel - hope it’s genuinely helpful if you’re working with creators or trying to make performance more repeatable. Long-term partnerships >>> one-off posts. Because after month 6… you can’t survive on “here’s my favourite recipe 😍” alone. Loved this breakdown of M&S x @emthenutritionist, 18 months of consistency + smart creative tweaks = the real secret sauce. Resharing 👇
if there’s ONE thing I’m passionate about in influencer marketing it’s long ! term ! partnerships ! it just makes SENSE: 🔁 credibility comes through consistency 🧠 psychologically repetition works ! 🙂↕️ brand becomes expected, so ads feel less sales-y but my favourite is because the content gets better over time !! like some fiiiine M&S wine 😛 i’ve always loved getting into the nitty gritty, altering the briefs month by month to really test and learn what works. themes, messaging, visuals. it really gets my gears turning, finding those minute details ⚙️⚙️⚙️ I wanted to see what was going on in the world of my favourite supermarket, and the UK’s hottest nutritionist, so I took 30 Instagram Reels from the Marks and Spencer x @emthenutritionist 18 month partnership, and ran them through Aggero (ad) the duo makes sense !!! but there’s only so many versions of a how-to recipe you can do. so analysing and activating the smallest details will help keep content fresh and engaging 🤏🏼🤏🏼🤏🏼 the using visuals, audio and captions, it uses content intelligence to give you all the juicy deets and does most the hard work for you (so you can go back to eating those picky bits hehe). you can have a go with it yourself here: https://lnkd.in/eNE3KKK4 this was SO fun and interesting to play with… let me know what you think of the results and partnership 👀👇🏼

Spotify Wrapped: cute. Aggero Wrapped: slightly unhinged. 🎧📊 This year we analysed 5 million hours of video content. That’s 1M videos, 35 categories, 8,863 creators, 56 countries… and 2.3M insights. No top song. Just top-performing patterns with one conclusion: content moves fast… but we analyse faster. We generated 2.3M actionable insights: that’s 6,301 insights per day. (We’re fine. Totally fine.) Happy New Year! 🥂 We’ll be back in 2026 with more data and slightly less caffeine. ☕️
Everyone posted their Spotify Wrapped weeks ago. I'm fashionably late. But I brought receipts. While you were vibing to your top songs, we were crunching 𝟓 𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐫𝐬 of creator content. We worked with brands who were tired of guessing. We broke a lot of "rules" that turned out to be myths. To everyone who trusted us with their data and their budgets, thank you! We learned more from your content than any industry report could teach us. The full breakdown created by my team is in the carousel ↓ 2026? We're coming for more assumptions. Happy New Year! 🥂
