Addionics is redesigning the architecture of rechargeable batteries

About us

Addionics is a growing, progressive startup based in Israel, the UK and the US. Addionics provides specialised improved rechargeable batteries by redesigning their architecture. With a novel and patent pending 3D metal fabrication method, we enhance performance, mileage, safety, cost and charging time of batteries. Addionics architecture work with current and emerging LIB technology. In short - we are betting on the race, not the horse. So whatever battery chemistry wins, our technology will enhance it yet further. There are two sides to the company - hardware making smart 3D current collectors, and software where AI will optimise given structures for given performance attributes.

  • Next week, our CRO, Boaz, will take the stage at 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗶𝘁 𝗦𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗘𝗹𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗦𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗲𝘁𝘆 (𝗘𝗖𝗦), to discuss the emergence of Smart 3D Current Collectors as one of the most impactful breakthroughs in cell architecture. Boaz will share new data on how 3D metal structure improves battery and manufacturability, and how it opens a scalable path to next-generation, cost-effective batteries and a stronger US supply chain. If you're in Detroit, this is a session worth attending - April 7, at 7:00 PM at Mercedes-Benz R&D North America.

  • Last week, we had a great opportunity to meet our partners, showcase Addionics' technology, and share our vision - at #IBS2026 and #SATShowWeek. At IBS, Moshiel took the main stage to discuss the technologies shaping the next era of defense and aerospace, highlighting the critical role of Smart 3D Current Collectors in powering the future of these sectors. It was also wonderful to host our partners for dinner and continue building toward the next era of applications together. We also attended SATShow Week, where it was impressive to see how fast the space industry is accelerating. Exciting companies, big visions, and one common denominator: the need for better, application-specific batteries. Two things are becoming increasingly clear: batteries are no longer just a competitive advantage - they are a source of power. Power to lead through technology, to reach space, and to determine who wins on the battlefield. And with next-generation applications pushing the limits, Smart 3D Current Collectors are becoming more essential than ever. Their adoption as an industry standard is inevitable. #Defense #Space #Aerospace #BatteryTechnology #IBS2026 #SATShow

  • Will the market move to 3D porous current collectors? When design, manufacturing, and integration evolve together, nothing stops the shift 🚀

𝐖𝐢𝐥𝐥 3𝐃 𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐨𝐮𝐬 𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐜𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐫𝐝 𝐢𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐥𝐝𝐰𝐢𝐝𝐞? Short answer: 𝐘𝐞𝐬. Long answer: It won’t happen overnight - but it will happen. • It starts with cylindrical cells, where the impact is immediate  • Jelly roll designs amplify the benefits  • The N/P ratio problem is real - and still under-acknowledged  • Engineering-wise, adoption is inevitable:  - Higher energy density   - Better space utilization   - Stronger performance • It will scale across both dry and wet coating   - First in dry coating and emerging technologies   - Then into broader, adapting markets   - Only where added value clearly justifies the shift • Next comes expansion to other formats   - Starting with applications where lifetime matters most and in small volume where cost is less an issue (think defense) • Once global manufacturing is in place   - The transition accelerates fast 𝐖𝐡𝐞𝐧 𝐝𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧, 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐮𝐟𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐞𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐨𝐠𝐞𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 - 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐟𝐭.

  • Full house at #IBS2026 🚀 Yesterday, our CEO Moshiel, spoke at the Battery Technologies for Military and Aerospace Applications session, sharing insights on the technologies shaping the next era of defense and aerospace. As operational demands evolve, batteries are no longer just a competitive advantage - they are about power.  The power to lead through technology, to control energy, and to win on the battlefield. Thank you to everyone who joined us. We look forward to continuing the conversation throughout the year. #Defense #Space #PhysicalAI #BatteryTechnology

They operate autonomously, interact safely with humans, and perform in dynamic environments. Standard batteries for EVs and consumer devices cannot meet peak power, thermal, and form-factor demands. Battery specialization is essential and Addionics’ Smart Porous 3D Current Collectors enable batteries that integrate directly into robotic systems, balancing energy density, safety, and mechanical structure. Explore how smarter battery architectures can power the next generation of humanoids and mobile robots. https://lnkd.in/empZaPQf #Robotics #BatteryInnovation #Humanoids #EnergyStorage #AdvancedRobotics
