I’m excited to share that a new story is up on the website! It’s called Early Morning, and is a really short story about a young woman going about her morning routine. It was my attempt at creating something that had a more chill tone, and focus on a snapshot of a person’s life. With everything going on in the world, I wanted to write something that took an optimistic tone, as naive as that might seem now. It was actually pretty difficult to not have a subtly grim implication imbedded by accident, but I think it does a good job keeping up a light tone!

In other news, I updated the initial page for Shadows on the Wall to include a temporary cover! The image was AI generated using the Dream program by WOMBO, so it’s not exactly the most advancing thing but I was happy with the simplicity! Eventually, I would like a custom cover done by a human, but for now I think it fits well. I also decided to use a pen name to credit myself, replacing my actual last name with another. Wanted to test it out and see if it sticks, and if it doesn’t, I will update the cover to just have my name.
