[Playtest & Demo] Bug Reports & Technical Issues
Hey all,

Posting another pinned thread. It would be great if you can try and consolidate bug reports, technical issues and questions, etc. in this thread so that I don't miss anything and can pass them along to the team effectively.

As already mentioned in the other thread: Set post processing to "low", otherwise you get strong motion blur when turning the camera.

"II started the demo for the first time and after setting my graphics settings the menu lagged very hard. I am unable to navigate properly, when closing the game and starting it I only hear voice from a video (clear, not stuttering) but have a black screen which can be skipped (prompt lower right). I would like to delete the config file, but it does not seem to be in the standard game folder and I do not find any folders under Documents/User. Could you please tell me where I can reset the settings so I can finally try the demo :D"

I'm having the same issue, game ran decently on default settings but I tried to minimize some stutter by bringing settings down to medium and now the menu is barely responsive and the game will only load to the black loading screen. Tried an uninstall/reinstall but settings/configurations persist so I can't get it back to functional to put time in the demo.
When I try to start the demo I get the message an application control policy has blocked this file, error 0x11c7.
Small thing, but it appears the audio sliders cannot be changed using a controller.
final boss of the area started spawning pillars that lagged the hell out of my pc, i did beat the demo on 1st try tho
Lots of huge frame lag spikes. Running rock-solid 60fps and then the next minute a slide-show for no apparent reason? Also pins my CPU at max temp for the opening video. Why? Love the vibe and art though so hopefully some good optimization before release.
1. Native. 60-65 frames on 5070 Ti + 9700x on High preset. Epic gives about 40. 3440x1440. Expected 80-90 on native and 100+ with AA upscale. Had no issues with other UE5 graphical titles. This one is not that graphical tho (no offense, it is good looking but too much resources are required in order to run 100+ Epic)
2. Yes, motionblur
3. Sliders are.. something on controller. You should press A then drag LS to the left/right in order to adjust values
4. Didn't see language options. I guess this is not available in demo
5. Intro cutscene apparentrly was baked in 16:9. I have 21:9 and video was streched horizontally
Please learn how to optimise your game. The levels are small and there is not much going on to run so badly.
re installing or deleting the config folder doesn't fix the demo 1 fps issue. you also can't click "auto detect" anymore. it doesn't do anything

If you'd like to send your ini file to help the team repro any issues, we'd all be very grateful.
I went through the demo 2 times, and I want to highlight some errors right away. : 1) Motion blur, in your case, I would remove it altogether here, it is superfluous here.
2) There is optimization, but you can still see sharp jumps and drawdowns at the end of the level or already during the transition, the biggest jump is the clearing of cocoons, where you need to withstand 2 rounds, the number of monsters makes FPS drop and jump very much, the game starts lagging on the boss with a large number of columns, flying enemies can hit through Textures and sometimes disappear behind the texture, which is why I had to use a grenade to kill him!
3) on the altar where you upgrade and choose the path, drawdowns are noticeable at the very beginning!
4) I would add more languages, as it is not comfortable to sit and translate every skill!
(from myself: if you add a co-op, there will be a real benefit.)
If you consider what was revealed in the demo and if you take this into account and finish the game, then the game will definitely shoot, it felt cheerful, fast, the pace of the game is what you need, battles and different uses of skills are like a bomb , it just made you feel like you want to say wow, but you really tried here, the opponents are well implemented , the optimization is raised to level up and remove everything I said, and I can confidently say that I will buy this game!

Thanks for checking it out! The team is definitely aware of the technical issues that players have had and would like to fix as many of them as possible.

Regarding localization, this is absolutely the intention for the full game. There just wasn't enough time to get localization finalized before the demo release.
it IS pretty fun... but its 100% unplayable cause it suffers from graphical lag constantly..
(and i tried every mix of settiings i could)
and the last time i died, enemies simply got close to me and the death cinematic started playing even tho i had shields and 70% of my hp left

but it constantly playes like its goint at 10-20 fps with even smaller spikes than that.. so even getting past 5-6 levels is pure luck
memory hole for sure is happening in this game. Have everything to medium on a 7900xt and it crashed after i died and a cutscene ran.
There's some kind of negative acceleration on mouse aiming. I can run the game on maxed settings with no frame gen with no issues but it persists regardless of graphical or control settings. Genuinely don't even want to finish the demo with KB&M like this
