Quick restart button please

Can we get a button we can map that will instantly restart the same run/mode/options (obviously without losing stats or run achievements/counting). It should be active as soon as we lose/win (assuming wins exist ;), before even getting to the end stats screen. Even better if it can be held to forcibly end the current run and restart.

Speaking of quicker starts, can anything be done to (optionally) reduce the startup and between time in boss-rush mode? Boss intros feel like forever there.

100% on for a restart button. I'd take it in the pause menu if that's an easier / safer approach so we can restart mid run.

Yes. Quick restart button would be nice. And preferably not from the menu or only after death, but any time from the run itself. I'm thinking something like Binding of Isaac, as an example, would work well, where you hold "R" (or some combination of buttons on the controller like pressing both sticks at the same time) for a couple of seconds and the run restarts.

Came here to post this. I would really love this. Occasionally I die to the first wave because I'm an idiot, and it's just a bit of an awkward, slightly-too-long loop to quit out and re-enter.

It is literally 4-5 seconds worth of time to restart from the pause menu. The confirm button skips the death animation and gets you into the results menu.

Fair I suppose. I don’t believe Kimmo is updating the game anymore unless if any major PC-specific bugs come up due to the physical version though.
