Releasing onto Xbox Game Pass is almost a surefire way to draw attention to a game, but even with its day-one launch on the service, Grounded 2 is off to a tremendous start elsewhere. Obsidian Entertainment's survival game, in which players are shrunk and must contend with insects and other dangers in a backyard, released in early access for Xbox consoles and on Steam on July 29.

When equipped, this Trinket grants a chance for melee weapon attacks to repair the weapon. Similarly, when blocking attacks with a shield, there is a chance for the shield to repair itself. Since it is a tier-three material, Pond Moss cannot be acquired early on in the game. Players will first need to upgrade their combat abilities.

In Grounded, Sizzle Protection is a resistance stat that shields adventurers against Sizzle, a harmful status effect that gradually fills a Sizzling meter on the UI while producing a sound similar to when something is burning on a frying pan. Once the Sizzling gauge reaches its max, red heat waves will appear at the bottom of the HUD, and the affected individual will see their HP quickly drain away.
