ScreenRant Joins The Canadian Game Awards As Official Media Partner

Valnet, the parent company behind ScreenRant, has officially joined the Canadian Game Awards as a Title Sponsor. SceenRant has also been named the Official Media Partner of the awards, set to provide comprehensive coverage of this year's Awards show celebrating the Canadian gaming industry. The 2025 Canadian Game Awards will celebrate Canadian game creators and other members of the gaming community and industry. The awards ceremony will be hosted by Naomi Kyle and held on February 15 at 8 p.m. Eastern Standard Time at the TIFF Lightbox in Toronto, the new home for the CGAs as part of multi-year agreement announced this week. Awards Will Be Given Out Across 16 Categories

The Canadian Game Awards will include several well-known titles and studios that are based in Canada, including Dragon Age: the Veilguard, Balatro, and 1000x Resist, which were also featured in other award shows this past year, including The Game Awards. It also highlights several new names not featured elsewhere, like the unique Metroidvania Biomorph by Lucid Dreams Studio and the beautiful art-based Été by Impossible.

Among the more unusual categories are several Esports selections — best Esports player, organization, and event — and Content Creator/Show of the Year. All the categories will give the Canadian Game Awards a chance to spotlight local creators and members of the gaming and game creator community in a way that celebrates creativity and innovation.
