Hosted by the Ministry of Finance and Economic Planning (MINECOFIN), the National Bank of Rwanda (NBR), Access to Finance Rwanda (AFR), the ASSAR Rwanda Association of Insurers (ASSAR) and the Rwanda Insurance Broker's Association (RIBA), the conference is being organised in cooperation with the Munich Re Foundation and the Microinsurance Network.   The call for proposals has been designed to reflect current and emerging developments in the sector. As we close Women’s Month, we reflect on the impact of the Journey of Transformation (JoT). We visited two families in #Burera District that have completed the programme. Through JoT, women in these families are receiving stronger support from their husbands, from sharing household responsibilities to supporting their business growth. Delivered in collaboration with Rwanda Men's Resource Centre (RWAMREC), the training aimed to address gender social norms that hinder women’s financial inclusion and economic empowerment. It guided couples to build stronger financial capabilities, make joint decisions, share care responsibilities more equitably, and reduce gender-based violence within families.
