  • Medical knowledge doubles every 18 months. So what kind of doctor do you want: the one who keeps learning, or the one who stopped? Same question applies to leadership. The skills that got you here are not the skills that will keep you relevant in two or three years. And right now, the biggest unlearning challenge facing managers and leaders is AI. Not how to use a chatbot. How to think differently about the work your team does, the decisions you make, and the capabilities you build around you. The clip below is from a free webinar, Thriving in Change, that is posted on our website. Our next AI for Managers and Leaders course runs April 21 to 22 and is guaranteed to run. Two days of live, expert-led training built for the leaders who know they need to move: https://lnkd.in/eVcAk6Dp #Leadership #AI #AdaptiveLeadership

  • The old expectation for project managers: ask good questions when the dev team gives you an estimate. The new expectation: know enough to challenge the architecture itself. Technical program management is growing because organizations need people who can sit between business and engineering and actually speak both languages. Not write the code. But know when the approach is overbuilt, underscoped, or costing too much. Our TPM instructor Omer H. puts it perfectly with a lemonade stand analogy in the clip below. There's still time to register for our guaranteed to run TPM Bootcamp Apr 21-23. https://lnkd.in/eYr94f7z #TechnicalProgramManagement #TPM #ProjectManagement #CareerGrowth #ITLeadership #Agile

  • The biggest mistake project managers make with generative AI? Prompting from scratch. When you ask an AI tool a generic question, you get a generic answer. But when you bring your own project documents, stakeholder data, and historical context into the conversation, the output changes completely. We call it "bringing data to the party," and it's the single biggest unlock for PMs using generative AI in complex enterprise environments. This clip is from a recent SoftEd webinar on AI use cases for project management. • Nobody talks about this in leadership training. The isolation that comes with executive responsibility is real, and it's one of the biggest drivers of underperformance and burnout. Yet most leadership programs skip right past it. In our latest webinar, David Mantica opens up about the loneliness of leadership: where it comes from, why it matters, and what you can actually do about it. The recording is now live. Watch it on our YouTube channel or at SoftEd.com. Link in comments. #Leadership #LeadershipDevelopment #ProfessionalDevelopment #ExecutiveLeadership #SoftEd

  • There's still time to register for the webinar on Thursday! Earn 1 PDU/SEU when you attend live.

"It's lonely at the top." Everyone says it. Most leaders shrug it off — until they're the ones sitting alone at night reading through legal documents and financial statements with no one to turn to. Loneliness is one of the biggest causes of leadership burnout and underperformance. Yet it's almost never discussed in leadership training. In this free webinar, David Mantica — Managing Director of SoftEd with 30+ years of experience and 700+ speaking engagements — opens up about the isolation that comes with ownership and executive responsibility. This is a candid, practical conversation about what no one prepares you for. You'll walk away with: → Why "water cooler commiseration" disappears when you're in charge → The hidden cost of being constantly watched and judged → How to engage authentically without fueling office politics → 6 techniques to combat isolation — from finding a commiseration partner to building a life outside the title → How to avoid "Presidentitis" (yes, it's a thing) This isn't a complaint session. It's about going in with eyes wide open. 📅 March 26 | 12:00–1:00 PM ET 🎓 Earn 1 PDU credit 💰 Free 👉 Register: https://lnkd.in/etSpSVtx #Leadership #ExecutiveLife #LeadershipDevelopment #Burnout #ProfessionalDevelopment #SoftEd

  • Every leadership team is talking about AI. But most organizations haven't answered the foundational question: where do we actually stand? We just launched a free AI Readiness Assessment you can take online in about 5 minutes. It evaluates your organization across five dimensions: - Strategy & Vision - People & Skills - Data & Infrastructure - Governance & Ethics - Culture & Change Readiness You'll get an instant score, a visual radar chart of your strengths and gaps, your maturity level (from Exploring to Leading), and personalized recommendations for next steps. You can also download your results as a PDF to share with your team. https://lnkd.in/gjKC_wQT

  • AI projects don't fail because of the technology. They fail because teams build the wrong thing. Design thinking fixes that — and it's not just for product designers. It's one of the most effective frameworks for AI development, enterprise software, and complex IT initiatives. Chris Knotts just published a free white paper on how to apply design thinking to technical projects. It covers: → The 6-phase framework: Empathize, Define, Ideate, Prototype, Test, and Scale → How design thinking works alongside agile practices (not instead of them) → Why low-fidelity prototyping is especially powerful for AI projects → How to overcome the management and scale challenges that come with enterprise implementation Plus two in-depth case studies: how Ford used design thinking to develop the Mustang Mach-E's Sync 4 system, and a research analysis of 13 IT companies integrating design thinking into their development processes. No form. No gate. Just click and download. 📄 https://lnkd.in/eUNWewVk #DesignThinking #AI #EnterpriseSoftware #AgileMethodology #ProductDevelopment #SoftEd

  • You've got the AI tools. You've run the pilots. Now what? The hardest part of AI isn't the technology — it's getting your organization to actually adopt it. Turning experiments into habits. Getting buy-in across functions. Measuring what matters. In this free webinar, Chris Knotts shares a practical playbook for leading AI adoption at scale — covering change management, skills development, technology integration, and how to make smart decisions about AI investments. Built for COE leaders, champions, L&D professionals, and anyone responsible for making AI stick across their organization. 📅 May 19 | 12:00–1:00 PM EDT 🎓 1 PDU | Free Register → https://lnkd.in/eMpAfBKy #AIAdoption #ChangeManagement #EnterpriseAI #Leadership #SoftEd

We just launched something we're pretty excited about. SoftEd now has a formal partner program — built for organizations that want to offer enterprise-grade AI, Agile, Project Management, and Leadership training without building it from scratch. Five flexible models (referral, reseller, co-marketing, delivery, association). You keep the client relationship. We handle everything from course delivery to learner support. Most partners launch in under two weeks. We already train Fortune 1000 teams at Starbucks, NASDAQ, Booz Allen Hamilton, and others. If your clients invest in upskilling or digital transformation, let's connect. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eqC93Wyc #Partnerships #EnterpriseTraining #AITraining #WorkforceDevelopment #SoftEd
