Vitol 2025 volumes and review Overall volumes of energy delivered in 2025 rose to 605mTOE (2024: 537mTOE). Crude oil and products remain the core of the business and in 2025 we delivered an average of 8mbpd (2024:7.2mbpd). Our expanding asset base has supported this growth in volumes. We are invested in a broad portfolio of assets which include: 93kboepd of production, 1.2mbpd of refining capacity, over 10,000 service stations and other energy infrastructure worldwide. Venture Global LNG and Vitol have signed a new binding agreement for the purchase of approximately 1.5 million tonnes per annum of U.S. LNG over five years from 2026. Pablo Galante Escobar, Global Head of LNG at Vitol commented, “LNG is important to many economies worldwide. Our latest article explores how liquid biomethane (bioLNG) can provide a practical, immediate route to greenhouse gas reduction, including via grid mass balancing and FuelEU pooling. Last week, David Rossiter, who leads Vitol’s metallurgical coal trading, participated in the panel session, “Tides of Opportunity: Financial Strategy in the Coal Sector” at the American Coal Council’s Miami Coal Forum. He shared how Vitol is supporting miners and customers as markets evolve: • A global platform for metallurgical coal: Vitol’s entry into metallurgical coal builds on our strengths in market access, logistics and risk management, and supports our broader strategy across commodities, including metals. • Connecting US supply to Asia-led demand growth: With demand growth concentrated in Asia, we help translate shifting requirements into practical routes to market, including support for new market and product development for US producers. • Investment aligned with trade flows: Vitol’s investment teams work closely with the desk to deliver financing that supports long-term partnerships and reliable flows.
