Writing Set is an Accessory in Nioh 3. Writing Set increases the duration of active effects while offering strong elemental protection, ideal for buff-focused builds. Accessories are wearable equipment that can be an Amulet, Fan, or Curved Beads that give various Stats, passive effects, and other combat advantages. Nioh 3 Accessories have different rarities, and higher quality grant more special effects. Players can equip up to 2 Accessories in their Equipment loadout.

For each rarity, the range of the Base Defense will increase, and the accessory will grant the following:
- Common rarity will grant one random Special Effects
- Uncommon rarity will grant two random Special Effects
- Rare rarity will grant two random Special Effects
- Exotic rarity can grant up to three random Special Effects

Every Nioh 3 Accessory with the same name always comes with a Fixed Special Effect, plus additional random effects. In the case of Writing Set its fixed special effect is

Fixed Special Effects can be easily identified by this icon before its name. In addition to this Fixed Special Effect, Accessories roll additional random Special Effects depending on their Rarity. This means two Accessories with the same name will share the fixed effect, but can have very different additional effects and serve different build purposes.
