Benevolent Graves or Acolytes in Nioh 3 are a world mechanic where the player can interact with graves to summon NPCs to help them. Upon summoning them, an Acolyte will remain with the player throughout the duration of the Battle Spoils gauge, or when their Life drops to 0. Ochoko Cups are used to summon Benevolent Graves or Acolytes, which can be found randomly while defeating Enemies, or by examining corpses.

How to Summon Acolytes in Nioh 3

Acolytes, or also known as Benevolent Graves can be summoned by offering an Ochoko Cup. When summoned, an Acolyte will fight by your side, and remain active until the Battle Gauge spoils run out, or when their Life drops to 0. Ochoko Cups are obtained randomly as you explore the world in Nioh 3.

Benevolent Graves are found in strategic locations where players often find difficulty clearing an area, or before fighting a strong enemy, or a boss.
