China’s emergency aid to Nepal in the wake of the mudslide:
🔷 50 tons of relief supplies
🔷 US$2 million cash aid from the Chinese government
🔷 US$200,000 from the Red Cross Society of China
🔷 2 teams of Chinese tunnel rescue experts
🔷 images and satellite & hydrological data of disaster-hit areas
China is making every effort to search for those unaccounted for. We’re staying in close communication with foreign embassies in China to verify the number and identity of missing persons and properly handle follow-up matters.

President Sadyr Zhaparov @sadyrzhaparovkg extended condolences, on behalf of the Government and people of Kyrgyzstan, over the devastating mudslide in Jilong County, Xizang Autonomous Region.
President Xi Jinping expressed his appreciation and noted that the Communist Party of China and the Chinese government are making every effort to conduct search‑and‑rescue operations for missing Chinese and foreign nationals, relocate disaster‑affected people, treat the injured and guard against secondary disasters.
Meanwhile, China has provided urgent assistance to Nepal. China has the capability and confidence to overcome the difficulties posed by the disaster and rebuild their homes.
