J.P. Crawford has been placed on the injured list with a right hand contusion, three days after he was hit by a pitch in Detroit. Ryan Bliss is here in Baltimore and has been promoted from Tacoma.

Colt Emerson has been scratched from the Mariners' lineup, one hour before first pitch here in Baltimore. The Mariners are now down two shortstops, after J.P. Crawford was placed on the IL a few hours ago. So, Cole Young will make his first career start at the premium position.
