  • Most AI tools stop at the boundary of the ERP. There is a reason for that. When AI gets something slightly wrong in a productivity tool, the cost is a correction. When AI gets something slightly wrong inside an ERP, the cost is a wrongly posted transaction, a mispriced contract, or a financial period that closes on data nobody audited. The stakes are categorically different. Which is why the conversation about AI in ERP cannot start with capability. It must start with governance. Before any AI system acts inside Business Central, there are questions that must be answered. Not as a compliance exercise, as a practical requirement of operating in a system of record. Who approved this action? What rule triggered it? How confident was the system? If the action turns out to be wrong, can it be reversed, and is there a complete record of what happened and why? These are not difficult questions to ask. They are, however, difficult questions to answer if the AI was not designed with them in mind from the start. • Manufacturers are no longer competing on products alone. Increasingly, customers are buying outcomes, uptime, efficiency and performance, not just equipment. But while the commercial opportunity is clear, many manufacturers find that transitioning to an outcome-based business model is where the real challenge begins. More often than not, it's operations, not strategy, that causes these initiatives to stall. We're delighted to be partnering with P2S Management Consulting for this upcoming MSDynamicsWorld.com (MSDW) webinar, moderated by Microsoft MVP Christian Segurado, (Forvis Mazars US), featuring Florian André (P2S Management Consulting) and our own Bjorn Kuijt (bluefort). Together, we'll explore: ✔ Why product-only growth is becoming harder to sustain ✔ The six dimensions where outcome-based manufacturing models typically stall ✔ How commercial strategy and Dynamics 365 must work together to make outcome-based models executable ✔ How manufacturers can build a scalable foundation for recurring service revenue Plus, every attendee will receive the eBook, 𝗙𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗱𝘂𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗢𝘂𝘁𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀: 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝘆𝗻𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗰𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝘂𝗳𝗮𝗰𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲𝗿'𝘀 𝗚𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲-𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝘀. 𝗡𝗘𝗪 𝗢𝗡 𝗠𝗦𝗗𝗪 📰 As Microsoft environments grow, point to point integrations can quickly become difficult to manage, creating complexity, maintenance challenges, and fragmented data that limits automation and AI initiatives. In this new MSDW Partner Zone blog post, bluefort explores why organizations are moving toward centralized integration architectures that improve scalability, simplify management, and create a stronger foundation for Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, and future growth. 👉𝗙𝘂𝗹𝗹 𝗽𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗼𝗻 𝗠𝗦𝗗𝗪: https://lnkd.in/gNXNfArr #BusinessCentral #Dynamics365 #PowerPlatform #MicrosoftCopilot #Dataverse #AI #D365BC

  • 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀, 𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗵 𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵. Our team was in the room last week for Microsoft's Partner Pulse session and the inaugural IAMCP UK&I dinner in London; two very different formats, one theme that kept surfacing: partners are rethinking how they price. The shift from time-and-materials to fixed and outcome-based pricing isn't new, but AI is changing the maths. Margin protection now depends on discipline most customers don't have the patience for, and the partners getting outcome-based pricing right are the ones who've solved the layer underneath it: billing and revenue operations that can actually flex with the model. That's the problem we built TAPP to solve inside Business Central, because a pricing strategy is only as good as the billing engine that can execute it. Good conversations, sharper thinking, and a strong first outing for IAMCP UK&I's new dinner series. More of this, please. If you're wrestling with complex billing or revenue models inside BC and want to compare notes, get in touch, we'd love to talk. Thanks to Ruslan Golomovzy and William Newton for representing us in the room. #BusinessCentral #MicrosoftPartner #PartnerPulse #IAMCP #bluefort #IAMCP

  • Many organizations believe that once Business Central and Dataverse are connected, the integration challenge is solved. In reality, that's often where the challenge begins. As businesses grow, they introduce custom tables, ISV solutions, Power Apps, automation workflows, and increasingly, AI initiatives like Microsoft Copilot. Suddenly, standard integration approaches start showing their limits. You may recognize some of these symptoms: • Critical business data lives outside the integration layer • Teams rely on spreadsheets to bridge information gaps • New requirements require custom development • Data arrives too late to support decision-making • AI initiatives are held back by disconnected systems The issue isn't that standard integration is broken. It's that modern businesses often need more than basic connectivity. They need a trusted, scalable, and future-ready data foundation that supports the way they operate today, and the way they'll operate tomorrow. In our latest article, we explore why growing organizations are moving beyond standard Business Central–Dataverse integration and what to look for in a modern integration architecture. 📖 Read the article: https://lnkd.in/d_7K9xvS #BusinessCentral #Dataverse #Dynamics365 #MicrosoftDynamics365 #PowerPlatform #MicrosoftCopilot #DigitalTransformation #BusinessApplications #ERP #CRM #Integration

  • Everyone is talking about Microsoft Copilot. But very few organizations are asking the question that matters most: Is our data foundation ready for AI? Copilot can help teams work faster, uncover insights, and automate routine tasks. But it can only work with the information available to it. If your data is fragmented across systems, delayed by synchronization issues, trapped in custom tables, or dependent on spreadsheets and manual workarounds, AI will simply inherit those limitations. That's why Copilot readiness doesn't start with prompts. It starts with integration architecture. Organizations that achieve the greatest value from AI typically have three things in common: ✓ Connected business systems ✓ Trusted data across ERP and CRM ✓ A scalable foundation that can support future growth As Dataverse becomes the central data layer for Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Copilot, the quality of the connection between Business Central and Dataverse has never been more important. In our latest article, we explore why integration architecture is becoming a critical factor in AI readiness, and what organizations should be doing today to prepare for tomorrow's AI-powered business landscape. 📖 Read the article: https://lnkd.in/d2mbax-2 #MicrosoftCopilot #ArtificialIntelligence #BusinessCentral #Dataverse #Dynamics365 #PowerPlatform #DigitalTransformation #BusinessApplications #ERP #CRM #DataStrategy

  • Many organizations start with Microsoft's standard Business Central–Dataverse integration and never think twice about it. Until the business grows. Custom tables are added. ISV solutions are deployed. Power Apps multiply. AI initiatives begin. Suddenly, what once worked perfectly starts showing cracks. Here are 7 signs you may have outgrown standard integration: ✓ Critical data lives in custom tables ✓ You're running multiple ISV solutions ✓ Teams still rely on spreadsheets ✓ Data arrives too late to be useful ✓ Every change requires technical intervention ✓ You're exploring Copilot and AI ✓ Managing integrations feels like a full-time job The reality is that standard integration isn't the problem. In many cases, it's the perfect starting point. The challenge is that growing organizations often need more than basic connectivity. They need a scalable, trusted data foundation that supports automation, AI, and future growth. In our latest article, we explore the seven warning signs that your current integration architecture may be holding you back, and what modern integration looks like in today's Microsoft ecosystem. 📖 Read the article: https://lnkd.in/dpcUdyTQ #MicrosoftDynamics365 #BusinessCentral #Dataverse #Dynamics365 #PowerPlatform #MicrosoftCopilot #DigitalTransformation #BusinessApplications #ERP #CRM #Integration
