The Future of Real-Time AI in Learning & Development: And The Humans in The Loop
An intimate evening hosted by Tavus, Orum, and Rox during HumanX week
AI is getting remarkably good at simulating human conversation. Reps practice with AI that sees them, hears them, and reacts with real emotion before they ever pick up the phone. Autonomous agents are managing deals end-to-end. Coaches are scaling one-on-one feedback across entire organizations.
But as machines get better at the art of being human, what happens to the humans on the other side?
THE EVENING
This is a gathering of community-not a boring panel and not a party. Sixty curated guests. Four speakers seated among you, not above you. ~30 minutes of guided conversation with open discussion, followed by good drinks and even better company.
THE CONVERSATION
When someone uses AI to learn and that AI reacts with genuine emotion, what are they actually learning-and what are they missing? Does AI coaching make humans better at human conversations, or does it change what they expect from them? As AI agents manage deals autonomously, where does the human seller become more important? Are we augmenting human skill, or slowly making it optional?
THE SPEAKERS
Hassaan Raza — CEO & Co-Founder, Tavus. Former engineer at Apple and Google. Hassaan leads Tavus, the human computing company—a foundational AI research lab teaching machines to see, hear, respond, and even look like humans do. He'll share what it actually takes to build AI meant to feel human, and what the technology still can't do.
Bob Aspell — VP of Product, Orum. Product leader with over a decade building and scaling products across insurance, fintech, and AI-powered sales. Previously co-founded SimplyInsured. BS in Computer Science from MIT. Bob will speak to what AI-powered sales coaching looks like in practice—what's working and where the limits are.
Dan Chen — Building at Rox. Serial founder and former partner at Sequoia Capital. Dan previously founded Hero.app, acquired by People.ai, and co-founded Quilt, a Sequoia-backed AI knowledge assistant for GTM teams, which was acquired by Rox. He also worked at a16z. Now at Rox, Dan has played a key role in bringing the Rox × Orum partnership to life. He'll share how autonomous AI agents are reshaping the revenue cycle

THE PARTNERSHIP
Orum is the AI-powered live conversation platform helping sales teams connect with more prospects and generate more pipeline. Orum uses Tavus to power AI roleplay personas inside its sales coaching suite, reps practice real conversations with AI that can see them, hear their tone, and respond with natural timing. Rox deploys AI agents that power the entire revenue cycle autonomously, and its partnership with Orum is extending that vision into the future interactive layers.
WHY THIS MATTERS
The future of AI isn't just about making machines smarter. It's about making the interaction between humans and machines feel natural enough that people actually trust them, learn from them, and build real relationships with them. That starts with being honest about where we are and where the gaps still exist.
