They were joined by colleagues Claire Halliday, Alanna Castillo, Archana Dhyani, and Shreya Rathi in celebrating this meaningful event. We were proud to showcase Nomura's innovation portfolio at the Digital Space Conference 2026 in Tokyo. Alongside leaders from government, finance, and tech, we explored how AI, Web3 and quantum computing are reshaping financial services. Our Digital Company teams from Japan and Powai, Mumbai, demonstrated immersive metaverse experiences, advanced digital humans, Agentic AI solutions and blockchain education platforms. Today, Nomura welcomed 348 new joiners at a ceremony in Tokyo. Following opening remarks from Group CEO Kentaro Okuda, the new joiners watched an AI-enhanced video imagining their future selves in ten years. Our Powai office in Mumbai recently hosted their Women Mentorship Program, a day-long immersive experience welcoming women mentees from campuses across India.
