Sorry for the late review but I very much enjoyed this game 😊 The concept was very interesting and hits on a scary part of reality. I feel like dark magic aside grief is something that brings out real emotion, so good job on that. I also just saw that you came out with part 2 and i will definately be playing it!
To any mothers out there with 2 or more kids...DON'T do what this mother did! Do not perform pet cemetary rituals to bring your 'favorite son' back. Avoid having a favorite child and love everyone equally, regardless of there personality, because this will happen, lol. A rather traumatic experience and great story. Hope to see more. This was a fun horror game my dude! The story was great and dark, I feel bad for the main character! I had a feeling what was going to happen, once the mother was sitting on the couch saying to come back early haha. The only thing I would say is there needed more ambient music, but other then that great job! I had fun with this game and recommend completely! What a solid game this was to check out! The story was captivating at first with the whole losing a family member aspect and the grieving afterwards. But the slow build up to something far more sinister was pretty well done! I quite enjoyed this one and it honestly exceeded expectations. Made a video on it.
There was a lot of dialogue for the world-building, considering the ending felt rather abrupt. It was easy to empathize with the son, who always stood in his brother's shadow. Sad and terrifying all at the same time. A really well-done psychological horror game. Great job!
