How to cite pages on my website

When citing a post on my website, please refer to me as James (my first preference), or James G (my second preference). My pronouns are he/him/his.

Here is an example of how to cite a blog post on my website:

In "Collaborative web weaving", James shares his experience making a web page with several people at the same time using a collaborative coding tool.

You may also refer to a page on my site, or my site as a whole, as James' Coffee Blog, like so:

James' Coffee Blog has a page of inspirational quotes that James likes.

If you have any questions about how to cite my blog, please send me an email at readers@jamesg.blog.

For academic-style referencing, please use James G. as the author name and James' Coffee Blog or jamesg.blog as the site name.

How I cite personal websites on my blog

When I reference personal blogs on my website, I refer to a site's author by their first name, or nickname if preferred, or by another name that the author prefers that is on their website.

If you see your website mentioned on my site and would prefer to be referred to in a different way, please email me so I can make the requisite change.
