We are proud to announce the launch of the Infosys InStep program in Japan – a significant milestone in our global talent and innovation journey. On 2nd February 2026, we welcomed our first cohort of 11 exceptional interns to Japan for an 8-week immersive experience. This marks the beginning of a new chapter as we expand our flagship program to one of our strategic geographies. This launch would not have been possible without the incredible support and collaboration from Arun Hoskere, and Hideyuki Aoki. We also thank the exceptional mentors led by Arumugam V and Sachin Kulkarni for their commitment and belief in investing in future talent which has been instrumental in making this vision a reality. A special shout out to Ramaswamy Babu Yarlagadda for his constant support. A big thankyou to the HiPUS team – DebaPrasad ( DP ) Chakravorty and Akash Singh for giving our interns a wonderful tour of the HiPUS office. InStep kicked off 2026 by welcoming 10 brilliant interns to the Infosys Melbourne hub, and their first week was anything but ordinary. The adventure started with front‑row excitement as the cohort watched the legendary Novak Djokovic live at the Australian Open. As the game heated up, the interns cooled down with the iconic peach ice cream and some snacks! And just when they thought it couldn’t get better, the interns created futuristic AI avatars at the Infosys Photo Booth which are totally frame‑worthy!
