🍀 Celebrating Irish connections around the world this St. Patrick’s Day During the ongoing St. Patrick’s Day celebrations around the world, Vaultree had the honour of meeting and celebrating Ireland’s global community in Brazil alongside visiting Minister Darragh O'Brien TD, the Irish Ambassador to Brazil Martin Gallagher, the Consul General of Ireland in São Paulo Robert Jackson, and Enterprise Ireland's team under Eoghan O'Briain. Events like these remind us that St. Patrick’s Day is more than a celebration of Irish culture...it is also a celebration of Ireland’s global relationships. As an Irish company, we are proud to be part of a network that connects innovators, businesses, and institutions across borders. Engaging with partners and the Irish government in Brazil highlighted something we strongly believe in: innovation grows stronger when ideas travel. 📢 Privacy Under Fire: New Lawsuit Challenges WhatsApp’s Encryption Claims A newly filed class-action lawsuit alleges that Meta may be able to access, store, and analyse WhatsApp users’ private chats, despite longstanding assurances that messages are end-to-end encrypted (E2EE). The complaint — representing users from multiple countries — claims that Meta’s practices contradict the promise that only sender and recipient can read messages. This controversy highlights a core issue: what should true end-to-end encryption actually mean? 🔐 Encryption Should Be Absolute — Not Conditional At Vaultree, we believe that end-to-end encryption should mean exactly that: - Only the communicating endpoints, no intermediaries. - No ability for the service provider to access plaintext at any stage. - No internal tools that can decrypt or expose messages.
