Full Verdania Walkthrough
How to Enter Verdania
To access Verdania, you'll need to have freed the Green Prince in the previous Acts. The Green Prince can be found on Sinner's Road, locked inside a cell. You'll have to use a Simple Key to free him. Afterwards, follow him throughout the Citadel and speak with him. His first appearance after freeing him will be above the Choral Chambers Ventrica Station [See Silksong Map]. Afterwards, you can find him in the left hallway [See Silksong Map] before you enter Cogwork Core. Keep in mind that you'll have to defeat the Cogwork Dancers first before he appears in this location.

After you've located the Green Prince twice in Choral Chambers, his next appearance will be next to Greymoor in the far east section. There will be a cave opening where you can enter and find the Green Prince. Inside the cave, you'll have to keep heading right until you've found the Green Prince. Take note that Verdania is only accessible once you've started the "Spell Seeker" questline in Act 3.

Once you've located the Green Prince, it's important to retrieve the map first in the eastern section of the area before you speak with the Green Prince.
How to get the Map in Verdania
To get the Map in Verdania, continue heading east. You'll find a breakable wall in the right corner of the area. Jump onto the platform and destroy the wall. Once inside, you'll have to keep heading east, jumping through platforms while defeating a few Lost Pharlids. At the end of the area on the farthest right section, you'll see an old camp with a few deceased bugs along with a Bench and the Verdania Map.

Once you've found the map, return to the Green Prince and speak with him. After your conversation, you'll have to play the Elegy of the Deep to get inside the Green Prince's memories. Hornet will then collapse, and once she wakes up, she'll be in Lost Verdania.

What to do in Lost Verdania
Inside Lost Verdania, you'll have to collect the shards located throughout the area. Collecting these shards helps the Green Prince regain his memory, allowing you to unlock more zones and areas you can explore inside Verdania. Eventually, once you've collected all of the shards, you'll be able to fight with the Clover Dancers, the boss of Verdania.
How to Find the First Shard
Once you're inside the memory, head to the right, and you'll be able to find the Green Prince. Past the Green Prince, you'll encounter a Pendra and a Nuphar. Defeat them and keep heading east until you reach. You'll eventually reach a platform with a green glowing bud. You can attack these green buds to sprout green spheres attached to their vines. Afterwards, you can use these spheres to propel yourself into the air. Keep heading east, and you'll see another green bud. Skip this one for now and head right. You'll see a mantis statue in the right corner. Destroy this statue, and it will release glowing shards that you'll need to collect. Keep in mind that you'll have to be quick about this, since they only last for a brief moment.

How to Find the Second Shard
Return to the glowing bud near the statue and jump across the spheres. At the top, you'll see two platforms you can explore. While you may choose any direction, for this guide, we'll be going through the right path. Further ahead, you'll encounter a Leaf Glider and an Escalion. Defeat them and continue moving right.

From the right corner, you'll have to use the glowing bud to get to the upper left platform. Defeat the Leaf Glider, then proceed to the next area on the right. Once you're in the next area, there will be an entrance on the right side. Inside, you'll see the Green Prince again. You'll have to activate three mechanisms by stepping on three pressure plates scattered inside the room.

Starting from the Green Prince, move to the right, and you'll see a tiny platform. Scale the platform on its left and use the Clawline ability to get across the spiked mountain. Past the spiked mountain, you'll see a totem you can interact with. You'll need to activate the three mechanisms first to activate this totem. You'll also be encountering Pendragors and Leaf Gliders roaming around. Defeat them first before you proceed, since they can block and hinder your way later.

Once you reach the right corner of the area, head inside. There you'll be able to activate the first pressure plate, where a fountain will emerge.

The second pressure plate requires you to traverse to the upper portion of the area. Head outside again and scale upwards. You'll see a glowing bud on top of a platform. From here on out, you'll have to maneuver to the second pressure plate in one swoop. Follow the green spheres, and just before the next glowing bud at the upper left portion, continue moving to the left. There, you'll see a ledge that will lead you to the second pressure plate.

The last pressure plate is at the top left of the area. Head back up, but this time, utilize the glowing bud above the second pressure plate. Afterward, keep on following the trail of the green spheres to reach the third pressure plate.

Once all of the fountains have emerged, head back to the totem, and you'll notice that it's now a giant pressure plate. Activate the plate, and a shrine will emerge. Afterwards, use the Needolin ability, and more glowing shards will emerge.

How to Find the Third Shard
To find the third shard, head outside the fountain area and begin your ascent. You'll find a ledge on the left and a glowing bud on the upper right. Head to the upper right bud and climb your way up. At the top, you'll have to destroy a mantis statue. Afterwards, the glowing shards will emerge.

How to Unlock the Western Area of Verdania
Once you've acquired the shards at the top, head back down to the left ledge and enter the pathway. You'll have to keep moving to the left. In the middle of the path, you'll see a platform with a glowing bud. There will be a few Pendras here and an Escalion. Defeat them and skip the glowing bud. Continue moving to the left. You'll then be entering a gauntlet battle against Verdanirs.

Upon defeating them, the locked door on the left will now be accessible. Inside the locked door is a pressure plate that will unlock the path to the western section of Verdania.

How to Find the Fourth Shard
To reach the fourth shard, drop down to the lower ledge on the left, then drop down again on the right. As you go down, use the Drifter's Cloak to safely glide down to the left side of the area.

Inside will be a linear path filled with Verdanirs and Escalions, and at the top left, you'll see the mantis statue. You can run past the enemies to skip them, but it is recommended to defeat all of them to easily follow the glowing shards.

How to Find the Fifth Shard and Sixth
Head outside again and start ascending to the top. It may look like a steep climb due to the wide gap between platforms, but there is a Pendra you can use to leverage yourself to the wall on the right. Once you're back at the top, head left to enter the next area.

Inside this area, you'll have to jump across two platforms and defeat the Cloverstag. Afterwards, jump across the next platform and keep heading left.

There will be a secret path here where you'll need to traverse using the green spheres again. And at the top of the trail, you'll find the mantis statue. Getting the shards here can be tricky, as one of the shards is by the water guarded by a Nuphar. You'll have to quickly pass through to avoid taking damage.

There is another shard location outside the secret path. Head outside and jump across the two platforms to the right and use the Cling Grip ability to scale upwards. You'll find a breakable wall on the upper right ledge. Inside, you'll have to push a lilypad into the gap above to reach the shards.

How to Find the Seventh Shard
After obtaining the sixth shard using the lilypad, move across the left platforms while defeating the Pendra and Leaf Roller. You'll have to keep moving to the upper left platforms until you reach the corner. Here, you'll have to time your Clawline ability, along with your Cling Grip and Faydown Cloak ability, to get through this platforming challenge. Once you've reached the top, there will be an entrance above.

You'll then have to climb the left wall to reach the seventh shard location. You'll also be able to find the Green Prince on the next platform. Speak with him and he'll tell you about how they hunted a stag in the past. Before you head over to the last shard, you'll have to go through the Palestag Boss first.

Where to Find the Palestag Boss
From the Green Prince's location, keep heading right while jumping across lilypads and battling with a few Pendras. There will be a narrow path at the end near the corner, but before entering the path, you'll be able to glimpse a brief image of the Palestag. Afterwards, keep heading right, and you'll find two fruits you can attack. These will replenish your silk meter before advancing to the Palestag fight.

Once you're prepared, head down, then head left. At the end of the narrow path, you'll enter an arena and face against the Palestag. After defeating the boss, you'll be able to acquire more glowing shards.

How to Find the Last Shard
Upon defeating the Palestage and collecting the shards, head left and drop down. You'll reach the area where you used the pressure plate to unlock the west section of Verdania. From there, head east until you see the Glowing bud you previously skipped.

Follow the path of the spheres, and you'll see at the top an open house. Head inside the house and defeat the Kindanirs inside. At the leftmost portion of the house, you'll see the last shard location. Once you've acquired all of the shards, there will be a huge light coming from the capital of Verdania. You'll then have to head to the Capital and find the Green Prince. Luckily for us, if you've followed the guide thoroughly, you'll be able to reach the Capital in just a few jumps.

How to Fight the Green Prince in Verdania
Step outside the house, and jump to the platform across it. Defeat the Verdanir on the next platform and jump to the next platform. You'll have to keep climbing up on the left side and then jump and dash to reach the right wall. Afterwards, keep on climbing up and you'll see a house at the top platform.

Inside the Green Prince's house, head to the right until you see a path that leads to the top and bottom. Climb up the path, and at the top, head left. There you'll be able to meet the Green Prince. But before you go and fight the Green Prince, you can explore his house, and if you've completed all of the shards, you can find more Lore inside the house.

Once you've defeated the Green Prince, you'll awaken back into the ruined Verdania with the Green Prince dead right next to his beloved. Next to them is an item you can pick up called the Conjoined Heart.

Now, let's all play the Needolin to pay respect to our fallen Green Prince.
What to do with the Conjoined Heart
While it doesn't change the ending of Act 3, it can be used as a substitute for one of the old hearts in "The Old Hearts" quest. If you choose not to use the Conjoined Heart, it can be kept as a memento in memory of the Green Prince.

AnonymousWould the required enemies for Nuu journal automaticly complete if you kill the Green Prince like it was with Khan in Coral tower?

AnonymousWhat is the point of this area? A memento and nothing else?

Anonymousis it possible to re-enter this area after defeating the clover dancers?

AnonymousCan you explore the ruins or just the memory version in act 3?
On the interactive map it shows a connection but they're all blocked in the ruins.
AnonymousWALKTHROUGH UP TO WHERE I AM (SPOILERS IG):
1. Free Green Prince from Sinner's Road cage (simple key required)
2. He moves to near the citadel spa in an open room.
3. He moves to where you probably killed the cogwork dancers (elevator up to the end game)
4. Start Act 3 (google how to do it since its convoluted)
5. Go to the right of Craw Lake, an entryway has opened and Green Prince is at the end of it mourning.
6. Break the wall at the very end and you officially in the area, and yipee theres a bench at the end of it.
7. Thats as far as I've got, I know definitively that theres more but the Green Prince just keeps mourning (even after like 4 main quest events in act 3) and I can't find any secret passages along the stretch I found, so I'm assuming I've missed something. There is definitely more than just that end passageway with the bench though.

This area is so pretty and the Green Prince is a rly cool NPC (even though I though he was a grasshopper first, lol). I felt kinda bad for fighting anything in there...man. :'(
