Disgraced Chef Lugoli HK Silksong Fight Strategy
Disgraced Chef Lugoli is a large, airborne boss that wields a long soup ladle as its weapon. The main obstacle to watch out for is the swarm of green maggots that spill out after its ground attacks and them throwing themselves around with wild abandon and a notable disregard for physics.
One of its primary moves is the Ladle Smash. Lugoli swings its giant ladle straight down from the air to strike the ground. When it lands, green maggots burst out and scatter around the arena. To counter, watch for the ladle's downward momentum and dodge away from the impact. Immediately dodge again to avoid the maggots, then punish with jumping attacks while Lugoli is stuck recovering from the swing.
It also uses a Body Slam, where it hovers briefly above you before dropping straight down into the floor. Once again, maggots spill out after the slam, turning the ground into a hazard zone. The safest play is to move out of range before it lands, punish quickly during its recovery, and be ready to dodge the maggots as soon as they appear.
Lastly, Lugoli performs a Side Slam. The boss tilts its lower back as a clear warning before launching itself sideways to slam into your position. Keep an eye on this indicator, dodge to the safe side, and capitalize with damage while it resets.
The fight against Lugoli is more about staying calm than reacting quickly. Always expect maggots after its ground attacks, keep your dodges clean, and look for the easy punish windows during its recovery. With patience, this disgraced chef will go down without much trouble.
Disgraced Chef Lugoli Boss Attacks & Counters
Ladle Smash
Lugoli swings its ladle down from midair, striking the ground. On impact, green maggots burst out from the floor and scatter. Watch the ladle's momentum and dodge the smash. Quickly dodge again to avoid the maggots, then close in with jumping attacks while Lugoli recovers.
Body Slam
The boss hovers above you and then drops straight down to smash the ground. Maggots fall out afterward, creating more hazards. Move out of the way before it lands, then punish during its recovery. Be ready to dodge the falling maggots immediately after.
Booty Slam
Lugoli tilts its booty as a warning, then launches itself sideways to slam its booty on you. Keep an eye on the indicator, dodge to the safe side, and deal damage once it lands.
AnonymousYeah, tools were my friend for this guy. Architect crest + Threefold Pin, Sting Shard, and Tacks for tools + Pollip Pouch for added poison + Wreath of Purity to help with healing. Set your tools up all over the arena and primarily focus on dodging. I'd estimate my tools did 90% of my damage when I defeated him.

AnonymousThe fact they are only ever referred to with they/them pronouns in game is mildly amusing, because it makes the franchises two examples of non binary characters the vessels, these haunting mysterious creatures of void, and ass jim.

AnonymousI highly recommend using Scuttlebrace for this boss. Very helpful for avoiding all of his attacks, especially the butt slam. There are even walls to scurry on and jump off of when he corners you.
Do the spider dance!

AnonymousUse the Poison Pollip, Cogfly and Delver’s Drill. Throw up 1-2 Cogflys at a time and focus on dodging. When the boss does the butt slam thing, jump over him and drill down. Don’t bother trying to slash, just dodge his hits and the maggot stuff and drill when you get the opening.
