Seed Maker | Stardew Valley

The Seed Maker is an item that can be used to produce additional seeds from crops.

How to acquire a Seed Maker

You will learn to craft a Seed Maker at Farming Level 9, and it requires the following materials:

• 25x Wood
• 1x Gold Bar
• 10x Coal

You can also earn a Seed Maker by completing the Dye Bundle on the Community Center Bulletin Board.

You may also find one in the treasure rooms of Skull Cavern.

How to Use a Seed Maker

Simply place the Seed Maker anywhere on your farm and add a crop. It will then start to produce those seeds.

This will take 20 minutes to produce, and 1-3 seeds will be produced at a time for most crops, except for 1-4x Mixed Seeds, and 1x Ancient Seeds.

There are a few crops that the Seed Maker will not produce anything from:

• Blackberry
• Coconut
• Coffee Bean
• Crocus
• Crystal Fruit
• Fiddlehead Fern
• Fruit from Fruit Trees
• Salmonberry
• Sweet Pea
• Tea Leaves
• Wild Plum
• Forage Items (except Wild Horseradish , Common Mushroom , and Winter Root )
