Mourning Frost is a very rare +1 Melee Weapon found in Baldur's Gate 3.

Where to Find Mourning Frost

To find the Mourning Frost weapon, you need to collect a number of items in the Underdark region:

• Icy Crystal - Find it on Filro the Forgotten near the Sussur Tree.
• Icy Helve - Find it on Dhourn, west of the Selûnite Outpost.
• Icy Metal - Find it on Xagrim the Pale Corpse in the Myconid Colony. The Corpse is in an area unlocked when you complete the Defeat the Duergar Intruders Quest.

Once you have all the parts, open the context menu and select combine to assemble the weapon.

Mourning Frost Abilities

• Topple - Deals normal weapon damage with a chance to knock an enemy prone.
• Heart of Ice - When dealing Cold damage, you deal an additional 1 point of Cold damage.
• Insidious Cold - Dealing Cold damage with a spell has a chance to inflict the Chilled status.
• Ray of Frost - Cast as a Cantrip at will, using your class spellcasting ability modifier.
