Throughout your lengthy adventures in the open world of Pywel, you will come across a variety of content. Whether it’s giants to take down or puzzles to overcome, there’s an overwhelming number of things to do.

Well, Crimson Desert also has a strong arsenal of weaponry for the player to not only buy but find in the environment. Most of the time it will be the same types of weapons that you won’t think much of, but there are others that are unique to the experience and even enhance combat. One such weapon is the Rhinard Cannon. This powerful weapon will help you in the early and mid-game as you progress further into the story.

What is the Rhinard Cannon?

The Rhinard Cannon is one of the strongest weapons you can find relatively early on. While there certainly are stronger weapons to obtain, a lot of them are gated behind challenging quests or in areas that require a lot of precision to ensure you aren’t killed by a single blow or shot.

With the Rhinard Cannon, this is something that can be done without much fuss or hassle. This is a two-handed spear-like weapon that has the capabilities of being a ranged weapon, as well.

Because it is a two-handed weapon, it means that you’ll have to put it in your inventory with all the other two-handed items, such as pickaxes and shovels. With that said, it allows you far more wiggle room when swapping between weapons or equipment, since it’s found in a section that generally doesn’t have too many weapons you’ll want, at least for Kliff.

How to Find the Rhinard Cannon

While it’s one of the easier weapons to get, it’s also one that requires quite a bit of traversal and voyaging into the unknown. The Rhinard Cannon can be found on the southeastern portion of the map.

Specifically, this is in the Three Brothers’ Cliff region of the map, which is part of Delesyia and southwest of Dewhaven. You can come across this region from the north or take the cliffs to the west, although that is a much more challenging route and requires quite a bit of stamina.

You will be looking for the Wyvern’s Sanctum. This is located on the top of a hill that’s overlooking the Wyvern’s Cradle camp to the south. This is full of aggressive soldiers and a couple of flying lizards that are ready to take you down.

Upon entering this rundown-looking tower, you will be greeted by a ladder and a staircase to a room with nothing in it. The “puzzle” of this is simply to light the lanterns on each side of the room and the door will open. In the next hallway there will be a saw trap that you can simply run to the end of.

At the end of these saws, you will find a lever that needs to be pulled. This will open a secret passage that immediately reveals a treasure chest with the Rhinard Cannon inside (along with a Palmar Pill). All you need to do now is to retreat to where you came in.
