The Abyss is a beautiful thing in Crimson Desert. While the vast world of Pywel has its own beauty, getting a good view of it up in the sky will take your breath away. With that said, it’s not just the visuals that are enticing. There are various puzzles spread across the world that you’re able to overcome.
A lot of them are locked until you reach further into the story, but a couple of them can be very early on. One is Crossroads of Uncertainty, which puts Kliff’s flying abilities to the test. This guide will help you get through this lengthy section, hopefully not forcing you down to earth.
Flying Section Part 1
After completing the puzzle in the Path of the Serpents, the next thing you need to do is jump across to a small island on the east of the main platform. From here, there will be a platforming section that’s surprisingly challenging given how easy it looks. It’s mainly that they are moving quickly and jumping across can be dangerous.
If you want to bypass this almost entirely, Axiom Force downward three times and then float across. It’s not as exciting, but it definitely helps quicken the process. With this, you’ll be able to teleport to the flying section.
Thankfully, there is a teleport here, so if you fall, you can get back very quickly. Unfortunately, this is a lengthy section, and if you fall you have to start all over again.
Use your Axiom grab to initiate the rings in the distance with the device on the ground. This will also start the fans, allowing you to float up. The good thing about these fans is that they replenish your stamina.
Jump to the right and use the fans to blow you up to the first ring and then use the fans on the left to get to the next. Try not to go all the way up as you can overshoot these rings. You can go to the platform to the right if you don’t think you can make it to the ring on the left, but if you use the spring to the fullest, you’ll make it with ease. Definitely land on the next platform as you’ll need a little bit of height to get through the large circle of rings.
Flying Section Part 2
After landing, use your Axiom Force grab to initiate the second part of the flying section. Jump off the single fan and you’ll be able to hit the first ring in this section easily. After getting past, there is the option to go to the right if you need stamina, but you can bypass it entirely and head for the blue-glowing fan in the distance.
Pass through the first ring, and you might not immediately see it, but head to the left as there’s another fan ready to blow you towards the next ring. It is too low for you to make it otherwise.
From here, jump onto the large turbine that will propel you into the sky. Go through the checkpoint and land on the platform so you can use the Axiom grab once more to initiate the last section.
Flying Section Part 3
This is the tricky one. Head forward (to the left) and there will be various lasers obstructing your path. Carefully maneuver your way through the small openings that are available.
After going through a couple of rings, you will eventually come across two platforms. One will have fans on the right side of it that will blow you to the other platform. You will have more than enough time to get to the small little cube coming out of the platform. Use your Axiom grab on the final device to initiate the fans on the other side of this fan.
Jump up and hop off to the right, and it will propel you into the structure with another propulsion device that will send you up. All you have to do is head forward until you reach the device at the other end. This is the tricky part as you’ll need to descend onto the blocks below and grab onto the device on the side of the platform.
You will then need to Axiom Force push off the middle, floating immediately after, otherwise you will fall to the ground. Jump up and claim your prize. It’s a surprisingly lengthy platforming section for an Abyss Artifact.
