Sounds like a feature request and a good one too. I'd never really thought of it before, but having a menu option to use Bluesky in "one shot" mode would be pretty cool (I never had that experience because I haven't used the Android version). |

So, in the past few weeks I’ve noticed a change in the Bluesky app (I’m using the Android version): when I make a new post, the app refreshes the Following feed. I really wish it didn’t; one of the things I’ve always liked most about the Bluesky app is that it doesn’t refresh the timeline unless I ask it to (or the app is reloaded), as it refreshing the timeline when I don’t ask it to is a great way to get myself trapped in a doomscroll. (I have clinical depression, so doomscrolling can be downright dangerous for me.) Sometimes, I just want to post!
So, I’d really appreciate if this change were rolled back, or at the very least, for there to be an option for me to turn it off. It’s really hurting my Bluesky experience and making me not want to post anything at all. Also, I’m posting here because I’m not sure what the most effective way would be for me to file this as an issue; is it a bug report? A feature request? In any case, I’d like to bring this to the developers’ attention. Thanks for reading!
