A few shots from our FinFusion sauna event this past Saturday. We spent the afternoon enjoying one of Finland’s most iconic traditions: sauna, followed by a refreshing dip in the sea, which was a brisk 9°C! A very Finnish way to spend a spring afternoon. FinFusion is a community initiative at Remedy designed for our international employees, as well as their spouses and children. Moving to a new country can be exciting, but it can also feel unfamiliar at first. Through FinFusion, we aim to help newcomers explore Finnish culture, build meaningful connections, and create a support network with others who share a similar experience. Remedy had a profitable first quarter of 2026, ahead of marketing ramp up and related spend to support the launch of 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗟 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗻𝘁. Key financial highlights in Q1 were: 𝗥𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘂𝗲: €13.1M (a decrease of 1.9% from the comparison period). 𝗘𝗕𝗜𝗧𝗗𝗔: €2.9M (an increase of €0.3M from the comparison period). 𝗘𝗕𝗜𝗧: €1.0M (a decrease of €0.3M from the comparison period). 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝘀𝗵 𝗳𝗹𝗼𝘄: €8.3M (an increase of €14.9M from the comparison period). We recently had the pleasure of visiting AP Academy in Stockholm, together with our Audio Director Richard Lapington. During our visit, we met with Andrea Roda, Head of Program in Game Audio, and Malin Sami, School Director, who gave us great insight into their work and vision. Founded in 2012, AP Academy has built a strong reputation in music production, sound design, and game audio education. Their Game Audio Producer & Sound Designer program combines creative disciplines like composition and sound design with technical implementation in Wwise and FMOD, all tied to real-world studio collaboration. We were especially impressed by their campus in the heart of Stockholm, featuring 21 dedicated studios!
