Wraith Caller is a Humanoid Enemy in Elden RingWraith Callers are strange, hunched-over humanoids that loiter in the ruins of the Liurnia region, often accompanying Revenants. They are much less aggressive than the Revenants, but most can call forth wraiths to chase down the player using their bell.

Wraith Caller Notes & Tips

  • Wraith Callers are extremely weak against Holy Damage.
  • Being a type of Revenant, Wraith Callers are damaged by the area of effect from  HealGreat HealLord's Heal, and Erdtree Heal for 50% of their max HP + 300 HP. In addition, the area of effect from Blessing's Boon and Blessing of the Erdtree damages them for 3% + 10 HP per second for 30 seconds. The area of effect of these healing incantations also deal significant Poise damage. Revenants are the only enemies in the game that are damaged by healing incantations.
  • Some ride erratic, nearly-skeletal horses.
  • Some do not wield a Wraith Calling Bell, and will simply rush and attack the player physically.

Just thinkin about these fellows because 1) they remind me of the bug people 2) the wraiths are the same, or at least the same color as the fire/wraiths the omens spew, as well as the scadu avatar's incantation.

Some of those fly guys puke worms that poison you not unlike the sickly individuals at shaded (as in "in shadow"?) castle.

Just wondering if there's any more/new speculation about these dudes out there as I've always found them somewhat mysterious.

Who have never died to these guys, down-vote me. I deserve it because I've ever died to those idiots, that's a shame.

Minor Erdtree blessing also hurts them, 31 hp per tick on third run, against those in Laskyar Ruins. But they wuickly get out of range with a single step

          • Anonymous

How can y'all struggle with these guys. They literally die in two-three hits. All you have to do is dodge their..... Projectiles. That's it.

            • Anonymous

Heal spells will also destroy their projectiles- don't know how useful that is, but thought I'd mention it

I always dread seeing these things, not because of them themselves, but because wherever you see these things one of those damn Revenants is always nearby waiting to torment you.

hitting them with an arrow staggers them enough to interrupt them when they try using the bell to fire the homing skulls at you. doesn't take a lot of shots to the head to kill them either.

Near the south of the Laskyar Ruins where you obtain the "Map (Liurnia, East)" there are three Wraith-Caller enemies… but they have neither capes nor Wraith-Calling Bells. They will only leap at you, push you away, or claw at you. Are they still labeled as a "Wraith-Caller" by the game or do these variants have a different label/designation? I'd be surprised if they didn't given that they have totally different behaviour and attack patterns.

we all just gonna ignore the fact that Ranni looks exactly like a wraith caller? Blue skin, four arms, gave us the spirit bell. the lunar estate ruins is full of revenants and wraith callers, and they appear in many areas associated with the carian nobles.

There is a version of these that ride spectral horses in Shaded Castle and Sainted Hero Grave just before the boss room
