Shadow Sunflower is a Crafting Material in Elden Ring. Shadow Sunflower is a brand new Crafting Material in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Crafting Materials are resources that can be obtained throughout The Lands Between and used to create a wide variety of items.
A large flower that blooms facing the Scadutree. Material used for crafting items. Found near the Scadutree.
These flowers, veiled in shadow and covered in impenetrable thorns, are suffused with profound holiness—much akin to the Scadutree itself.
Where to find Shadow Sunflower in Elden Ring
As items:
- Shadow Keep: From the Storehouse site of grace, find the ladder and climb it up, pass the enemies. Circle the area on your right and you will find an opening that leads outside, take it and you will find the item on a corpse on the left side near the edge. - Shadow Keep: From the Well-Pickled Turtle Neck, move forward, turn left, and keep advancing until you find the entrance of a big church-like building. Enter and immediately turn left to find the item. [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map] [Video Location]
- A Shadow Sunflower can be found near the edge of a cliff, southwest of the Ruins of Unte. [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map]
- Moorth Ruins: Fall from the area in which you found the incantation, this item is in what used to be the door of a building. [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map]
- x2 Shadow Sunflower. Found on a body in the middle of the Perfumer's small camp. [Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Map]
As plants:
- 7 can be found north of the Hinterland site of Grace, on top of the mountain.
- 3 on the hill North-North-East of Hinterland Bridge. Then 3 more after a small drop right in front of that.
- 3 or 4 spawn on the edge of the Scadutree Chalice and Scadutree Base (after killing the avatar), you can reload to respawn them

“found near the Scadutree” but for some reason most of the “flowers” you see in the avatar boss room are fakes and only 3 are crafting materials. Mfer that place should be full of this stuff.

if you from ancient ruins base site of grace you can find at least 3 at edge of the cliff

I definitely remember finding an area with at least 8 of these clustered up, but I can't recall where it was. Any ideas?

the ones on the hill north of hinterland site of grace respawn. no need to kill gaius or scadu avatar.
