New Game Plus, or New Game+ (NG+), also referred to in-game as beginning a new Journey, in Elden Ring is an unlockable feature upon completion of the story which allows you to begin a new playthrough while maintaining your character's Stats, level, and select pieces of Equipment. Starting a new journey resets the world state, meaning NPC questlines, story progression, and unlit Sites of Grace are reset, though your map remains revealed. In exchange for your retained power, enemies and bosses become noticeably tougher with increased health and damage, but they also yield significantly more Runes upon defeat. This difficulty scaling continues with each subsequent playthrough, eventually capping at Journey 8 (NG+7).
This page covers how to enter New Game Plus, what specific changes it brings to gameplay, and the exact equipment which carries over versus what is lost. In addition, there are community recommendations about what you may want to accomplish before officially entering your next journey.

How to get to Shadow of the Erdtree New Game Plus
To play the Shadow of the Erdtree New Game Plus, you will need to defeat Starscourge Radahn and Mohg, Lord of Blood in the base game. Return to the Cocoon of the Empyrean and touch the hand to enter the Shadow Realm. You will need to make sure you have completed everything before you wish to start NG+.
What Changes in Shadow of the Erdtree New Game Plus
Just like in the base game, enemies will still scale and get stronger in the Shadow Realm, so looting items and collecting Shadow Blessings might get a bit more difficult. You will keep your Shadow Blessings and also be able to collect them again in NG+. However, if you are not able to collect all of them in your first playthrough, you will still be able to find them in your NG+ playthroughs. There are 50 Scadutree Fragments with a maximum level of 20 and 25 Revered Spirit Ash with a maximum level of 10, the maximum level of your Shadow Blessings will not go higher than its current maximum level.

What changes with New Game Plus?
You will find some differences when starting a new playthrough through NG+:
- Enemy health is increased. This means that enemies can take longer to kill.
- Enemy defense is increased. This means that enemies take less damage from attacks.
- Enemy resistance is increased. This means that status build ups like Rot and Bleed are reduced.
- Enemy attack rate is increased. This means that enemies deal more damage with attacks.
- Enemy poise damage taken is increased. This means that enemies have higher poise and take more to break poise/stagger/etc.
- Enemy stamina damage is increased. This means that hits absorbed by blocking or block-like effects sap more stamina.
- Enemy stagger resistance is increased. This means that enemies take more to stagger.
- Runes received from Enemies and Bosses increase:
- The increase for NG+ depends on the enemies and bosses and varies between a 5x increase for earlier enemies and bosses to a 2x increase for later enemies and bosses.
- The factor seems to depend on the area (5x in Limgrave, 3x in Liurnia of the Lakes, Mt. Gelmir, Altus Plateau, Leyndell, Royal Capital, 2x in Dragonbarrow, Mountaintops of the Giants, Leyndell, Capital of Ash, ...) with some exceptions
- Further Journeys increase the number of runes received based on NG+, or Journey 2, as illustrated in the table below.
Journey Multiplier 3 (NG+2) x1.100 4 (NG+3) x1.125 5 (NG+4) x1.200 6 (NG+5) x1.225 7 (NG+6) x1.250 8 (NG+7) x1.275
Enemies and bosses deal more damage and have more health. The amount of increase varies based on enemy and location, with larger increases in lower-level areas. The poise damage and higher stagger resistances interact with each other to increase difficulty. Some enemies are much more difficult to stagger or poise break as a result.
The breakdown of how scaling works per level area and per ng is as follows pulled from datamined files and tested in-game:

Multiplayer HP boss scaling data:
1 more player: x 1.6
2 more players: x 2.3
3 more players: x 2.7
Formula to determine boss health in any location, ng+ value, and number of players:
((Boss base HP × map region multiplier) × multiplayer scaling) × NG+ scaling = boss HP
Examples:
- Radagon in single-player at NG+7: ((13,339 × 1.001) × 1) × 1.4 = 18,694.6754 HP
- Radagon with two players at NG+5: ((13,339 × 1.001) × 1.6) × 1.3 = 27,772.86512 HP
Starting in NG+2, or Journey 3, all enemies take reduced Stance damage:
NG+2: 5% reduction
NG+3: 10%
NG+4: 15%
NG+5: 20%
NG+6: 30%
NG+7: 40%
Other changes:
- Movement slowdown caused from certain area hazards (such as lava and swamps) is removed upon entering NG+.
- It's not known if this is intended behavior or not, but it has remained unpatched.
Note: NG+ does not introduce any new enemies or equipment.
What happens after Journey 8 of Elden Ring?
Journey 8 (NG+7) marks the end of Elden Ring's new game scaling; all subsequent journeys will have an identical level of difficulty and rewards.
At this point, players can choose to pursue their own defined goals, such as:
- Collecting all Armaments
- Challenge Runs
- Obtaining all Trophies & Achievements
- Experiment with new Builds
- Prepare for future DLC
DLC+
On top of the new game plus cycle, the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC gets more challenging in your first NG+ cycle after beating Promised Consort Radahn. All enemies' health bars are increased, and the damage they deal increases as well. For example, if you first play the DLC in Journey 2 after having never beaten it before, it will be easier than it would be if you'd beaten it in Journey 1 and then played it again in Journey 2.
The DLC+ increase is permanent for a save file, but it only happens once, so you're either in DLC+ because you started a new game after beating the DLC, or you're not. Being in DLC+ doesn't affect anything other than enemy health and attack power, and it doesn't affect anything in the base game.
AnonymousDoes the multiplier scale of your level at all? Like if I were to beat the final boss at level 1 then do NG+ would it just be very slightly scaled or is it just a set multiplier?

AnonymousI don't find many reasons to go to NG+ and beyond.
1) There might be items and quests i missed or need a second copy, but you only need to get to NG+2 or 3 to do that, then what's your goal?
2) Get to ng7, but at NG7 it stops getting more difficult, which is a shame.
3) Reach max level, but that reason alone isn't very interesting and would take a long time. I got to max level in DS3 on my 83rd play through and that was with the benefit of getting 3 free levels each play through, but ER doesn't have that benefit.
4) Maybe a challenge, like how far i can get at RL1 or with some other restriction.
Would be curious if people know of other reasons.
AnonymousWhy are there no comparisons between base NG and NG+?
From what i have read NG+ is still different than NG
So why do the comparisons between scalings only start from NG+2 and NOT NG+1?
AnonymousYou completely f*cked this wiki up by preferencing sote above the base game at every opportunity. working for fromsoft marketing department are we?

AnonymousI have to ask, why not make Limgrave scaled up to endgame NG in NG+? It wouldn't be unfair, as players need to beat the game to get there to begin with.
Limgrave is so weak and 5x or 4x the runes is just not enough; fighting bosses becomes more about running around than fighting, all for 10k to 30k runes... It's not engaging or rewarding enough. I'd rather areas be roughly normalized in scaling from NG+ onwards, because otherwise I'll just skip the early areas and go straight to Dragonbarrow and Altus Plateau. Also, it would be nice if they added some tougher red‐phantom enemies guaranteeing chance drops; gradually add those with each new game and it's an incredibly easy way to have at least some players play further than NG+2.
AnonymousFor anyone struggling in later ng+ try blackflame protection, can actually survive a ng8 omen killer slam, barely..

Anonymousaqual scaling is bullshit while late game bosses scaling should stays same, early game bosses should be scale much better like at ng +1 malanie get % 10 bonus but godrick get %120-200 bonus.Game would be more fun. at ng early game litterally meaningless everthing get one shot ,so in ng % 80 of game actually is time wastage

AnonymousShould be player's choice whether to make these already stupidly hard games even harder in NG+ cycles. And before the so-called "Souls-vets" materialize into existence in a way that makes me question the nature of reality and whether Fromsoft Invaders are actually a normal part of it, and proceed execute me Julius Caesar-style with torches and pitchforks for daring to suggest that Fromsoft innovate in some area (or switch up their beloved torture routine in any way really), I'd simply like to point out, just as one example, that jumping wasn't a thing either. From -does- change stuff in between games (this isn't always a step forward of course, rolling back all the advances of Dark Souls 2 back into nonexistence when making Dark Souls 3 was criminal, if telling about Miyazaki's self-obsession).

AnonymousI feel like dlc scales past new game +7 cause 8 feels much harder somehow messmer was quite easy at journey 8 but now it feels insane

AnonymousI have a wish that they put a option to start a fresh new game on ng+, every ng+ you beat you unlock that level to start a fresh file into.

Anonymouslmao all that work and 10s of millions in budget money and the only changes they could have bothered to have happen in ng+ and beyond is just that the already obnoxious enemies have even more bloated stats, at least ds3 had enough creativity to add + versions of the rings throughout the first 2 ng+ runs

Anonymous
Anonymous
AnonymousI beat consort radhan in NG, didnt go in the DLC in NG+, NG+1 and NG+2. Now my game is NG+3 and i am in the DLC, do i get DLC or DLC+ ?

Anonymouskinda wish they would re-introduce the one thing they got right in darksouls 2 back into other souls like games with newgame+ new items or moved around enemies or introduced new things

Anonymous
AnonymousSomething important to point out is that the BASE GAME ng+ also scales the enemies in the Land of Shadows. DLC+ is an extra layer of scalling they add on top of that.

AnonymousWhat are the numbers for DLC+ ? Curious if it is worth running through again on NG+8 for the extra difficulty.

AnonymousI'm about to go into NG+ but I will respec to 15 VGR and put my excessive FTH points in INT to weaken my castings with seals. Also I'll have to use +0 weapons, my luck is that I didn't upgrade some cool weapons. I am think of playing a two handed greatsword build from my DEX/FTH build.

AnonymousThis time Nepheli will be mine instead of over powered Dung Eater, I won't give Ranni the fingerslayer blade, Seluvis and Pidia, my bothers in sickness, will keep alive. I will finish the job of exterminating that merchants, I'll get all their bellbearings while clothed as Elemer. I'll let Melina Burn, I won't make Varré quest, my dragon eyes won't be overwritten this time! Mylenia... Mommylenia, Melania, Milena, Menardi... I will kill you on 1x1 without throwables this time, wait for your silly death.

AnonymousI worked too hard like Kid Bengala to conquer all my 200 levels, rare equipments and consumables for just beginning another playthrough from the very beginning. I am decided to do NG+ but I don't like the idea of being over powered at first 70% of the game. I think I'm good for Montaintops of the giants and Miquella's Haligtree but very strong for earlier places even at NG+. I think me with 40 VGR and +25 uchigatana would make Margit weaker than a runebear. I am thinking of using Daedicar's Woe to cut my HP in half indirectly, going from 1450 to 725. I can even use some scorpion talisman and Marika's/Radagon's Scar/Sore talismans to weaken my char. I'll have to get other unapgraded weapons to play fairly. But from Montaintops, Consacrated Snow Fields, Farum Azula and Elphael, I think I will have to do my best again in terms of building. At late game, the dificulty is insane, even more at NG+ obviously. Godfrey, Maliketh, Placidusax and Malenia, I promise I will kill you all without summons this time.

Anonymousis there any benefit to continuing doing ng+?? I'm at ng+62 and I feel like nothing has changed for a while

Anonymousthose level 150 stubborn bozos can go die 300 times with their one single boring ass build while i level up 300 times, enjoy a variety of builds and weapon's mix & matches in my playthrough

AnonymousDon't listen to these losers saying stuff like you have to limit yourself to level 150. What if you want to run an 80/80/80 dex/int/arcane build with rivers of blood and sorceries wouldnt that be cool? All that matters is if your having fun while doing it

AnonymousI mean nothing but constructive criticism when I say this, but please make sure to indicate exactly what bell bearings are included in the NG+ bell bearing list. For example, "Smithingstone Miner's Bell Bearing" should be listed as "Smithingstone Miner's Bell Bearing (1)" to avoid confusion.

AnonymousI was expecting ng+7 to be hard the way people were talking about it but it's just not :( played thru the game 7 times for this

AnonymousThe worst part of NG+ is the open world enemies. In base NG, once your build is fully realized, it’s a lot of fun to go around challenging groups of enemies rather than a single boss, but in NG+7, every enemy does a fourth of your health in one attack, and they stunlock you to death, and there’s just no reason to ever fight enemies. It takes so much away from the open world.

Anonymousif I beat the dlc on NG+0, then didn't enter the dlc until NG+7, am I still in DLC+, or does DLC+ go away cuz I didn't beat the dlc in the previous NG+ cycle?

Anonymousi finished the game and started a ng+ and while being on bg+ i bought the DLC and defeated mohg. am i in ng+ oder DLC+?
also i feel like im getting one shotted by everything but when watching other players fight the bosses i fight they take like half the damage would it be better to start a completly new run or just thug it out?
(im stuck at mesmers p2 because every attack i cant dodge leads me to die a few seconds after getting hit)
Anonymousokay some body tell me so if i do a ng+ and havent enter the dlc does the dlc still get harder or not

AnonymousI’m currently on NG+4 and DLC+ and the enemy defense/attack power scaling feels absolutely ****ed in the lategame areas. I have +70 Vigor and wear pretty hefty armor but I’m still finding myself getting 2-shot (sometimes even 1-shot) by relatively basic enemies. This isn’t worth the slightly increased Rune drops, in my opinion!

AnonymousCan someone explain to me the multiplayer scaling? The 3 more player with 2.7 multiplier? Is this data from another game? I’ve never seen a host summon 3 other yellows and ive played for 500 plus hours. They always have 2 yellow and 1 host. Unless Invader counts, but I doubt

AnonymousThis game not only should have boss rush like in Sekiro but ng+ exclusive QoL things like major graces that are automatically unlocked after finishing previous cycle, so you don't have to run across whole map all over again. Ah, and all of key items excluding quest items should be kept on ng+ but they are not for some reason.

AnonymousHow does the DLC + mean? Is it only scale up once? if we see the dlc boss in this wiki it is scale each ng up to ng7

Anonymous
Anonymousdidnt cookbooks used to not carry over to ng+? i swear i used to always get the sleep pot cookbook for godskin duo every ng+ cycle, now i dont have to

AnonymousHi, i have defeated Radahn The Consort and like to play NG+. What or where do i find a way to reset to continue NG+. i am having an issue here at this point

AnonymousSome informations are missing, like the fact that in NG+ the lava doesnt make you slower

AnonymousI hope I get bored of the game before I reach new game+7 but then again I did beat sekiro without kuro's charm and demon bell on so I might be fine

AnonymousWhy does NG+7 Godrick have the same scaling as the NG Sewers?

AnonymousDoes anyone else think it's kinda stupid that the early game NG+ is scaled to around NG Caelid, despite the massive end game difficulty spike?

AnonymousAnd in DLC+ if you summon a friend for fun it's not fun. I noticed the I did about 6000 damage with buffed ashes of war solo that same ash of buffed did less than 50% damage when one person was summoned. they really need to fix dlc+ as now it made the dlc even less enjoyable to play again. The dlc is already forgettable unlike
of soulsborne games

Anonymousi love the part when they made it so there's basically 0 incentive to go into ng+ ever unlike ds2 when you can just farm albinaurics ad infinitum for levels and have mules drop you weapons and armor whenever for absolutely no cost despite this game having the longest dev cycles of any of their games so far, thank you miyazaki

Anonymous
Fixed NG+ scaling table for NG+2 and beyond having their columns shifted.

AnonymousHere’s some advice from an old crazy person that ran through the game 21 times: If you’re finding yourself taking huge chunks of damage, a shield will SAVE you. HARD. Not taking full damage is always better than taking full damage or risking a tricky dodge. Plus, if you have a greatshield, guard counters are an extremely viable option. Be like the underrated Lance mains of monster hunter. They may not do the most damage, but they’re not dead, and barely got scratched. You don’t even need a greatshield, a medium shield works wonders against anything that isn’t a massive gun. Even a small shield can block. You can block with your bare hands. If you use a colossal weapon, you can block with that too, and it’s actually sometimes on par with upper class greatshields!

AnonymousHere's to hoping they fix the NG+7 enemy Physical/Standard damage double scaling issue before they eventually stop updating the game.

AnonymousFor those curious, based on my own playthroughs this is how the rune value of a single frog at the Palace Approach rune farm changes:
NG: 2044
NG1: 4088 (100% increase)
NG2: 4497 (10% increase)
NG3: 4599 (2.3% increase)
NG4: 4906 (6.7% increase)
NG5: 5008 (2.1% increase)
NG6: 5110 (2% increase)
Haven't gotten to NG7, will update the post if I do...
If your goal is to complete enough NGs to optimize rune farming at Palace Approach so you can level your build quickly, I recommend NG4. Going beyond that has quickly diminishing returns, and you'll probably level up faster rune farming at NG4 than spending the equivalent time getting to NG5 or NG6 (where you'll only get marginally better returns).
Note, these values don't include using the Golden Scarab or the Gold-Pickled Fowl Foot. I only wanted to see how each NG cycle increased the rune value, regardless of buffs used.
What the heck, I didnt know about DLC+ I'm gonna have to redo my ng+7 run I did on launch. I'll have to use bad armor and half upgraded weapons at the start though to emulate low scadu blessings since there is still no option to lower it on graces :(
But who knows, maybe they made early bosses a lot stronger while later ones not as much like base game to offset scadu (probably not)

AnonymousI would like to see in a future game another attempt at what dark souls 2 did but even more so. To have ng+ include entirely new and harder enemies, surprise boss encounters, entire areas that are sealed off on the first playthrough to name a few. Dark souls 2 went for it and were somewhat successful but it could really have been better.

Anonymoushow many times can you make a ng+?
infinitie?
so it just stops scaling after 7?
AnonymousIst bei NG+ 1 dann 1,05x oder wie oder ist es 1,1x oder was für ein Multiplikator hat NG+ 1

AnonymousIt's been 11 years and Dark Souls 2 still has the best NG+. This is so boring in comprison

AnonymousIch wünsche das man auch wieder zurück kann (wenn man bei zweite Reise ist das man noch zu Erste Reise hin kann)

AnonymousJourney 2 is the always the best. You usually are done all the gathering tasks but still have a long way to go with leveling up and you gain so many runes to speed things up and it’s just far more enjoyable. By journey 7 or 8 there’s almost no point in leveling anymore as you pay over a million runes for basically nothing.

AnonymousI wish New Game + base game enemies scaled harder like in the DLC, it decreases the replay value to rolfstomp everything up to Mountaintop of the Giants

AnonymousNg+ scaling is bugged for enemy physical damage! It's doubled! Report it to fromsoft's customer support!

AnonymousThere’s actually a super convenient way to check what NG cycle you’re in, in case you lost track.
First, complete the Leyndell sewer area in your current playthrough. Then go to your inventory and check how many Rainbow Stone Arrows (Fletched) you have. If you have 10, you’re in NG. At 20, it’s NG+. 30 at NG++. Etc.
Overall a very cool quality of life feature that is too often overlooked. 10/10 game design.
AnonymousI can’t seem to find the answer to my question so I guess I’ll just ask here. I started the dlc while I was in ng+4. From my understanding the dlc is scaled as if it were ng for the first playthrough. When I beat Redahn and came back to the dlc in ng+5 is the dlc scaled up to ng+5 or do I have to go through the dlc another 6 times to get the dlc to ng+7 difficulty?

Anonymous
AnonymousI was trying to test my poise out in ng+ 7 with all the we with all the guard counters not realising they take 40% less stance damage

Just noted: NG+2 and beyond have their columns shifted. SpEffectID values are the health values (how tf are SpEffectID multiplied by something?), health values are the defense ones, defense are resistance ones, resistance are poise dmg taken, poise values are atk rating, atk rating values are stamina damage, and stamina damage column's values are entirely wrong and should be removed.

Were the base scaling and the NG+ scaling tables datamined or estimated? My calculations seem off in many scenarios I tested.

AnonymousThe scaling table does not matchup. It seems there is an extra column since it makes no sense to multiply the area id. Does anyone know where the mistake is?

Anonymous
AnonymousGood lord DLC+ is not a joke. Played through it at Scadutree level 20 on NG+7 before, thought it wasn't that hard. Playing through it again having defeated the final boss I am getting my ass handed to me left and right.

AnonymousI think now ng+ does increase the runes drop from enemies in the dlc. The black goal knight gives 70k runes right after the release but now it gives 140k, both of my characters are in ng+1, no dlc+

AnonymousI think DLC+ double runes obtained from killing bosses.
I've killed Radahn in NG0 then in NG+7, and it gave me 1257000 runes (the wiki says 637500 for ng+7 alone).
AnonymousThe table says that NG+7 has a scaling modifier of health of 1.3x but the example of Radagon's NG+7 health uses 1.4x? This makes no sense

AnonymousCan the DLC be started again on the next journey without completing the main game? In other words, are the DLC and the main game on the same journey? Something on this page made me believe I could just go back to the cocoon to restart the DLC, but clearly, nope.

AnonymousSomething is up with NG+ in the DLC. I took 2 characters; one on NG and one on NG+ and played through the DLC. I fully completed it with my NG character with LV 20 scadutree upgrade, and made it to Messemer with my NG+ character with LV 14 scadutree upgrade. When I went into NG+ with my first character, I found the enemies were essentially reset to their original strength scaling, as if I had no scadu upgrade despite still having it. My other NG+ character is still dealing more damage at only scadu 14, and the enemies drop more runes despite both characters both being on NG+.
It's as if my NG character lost all scadu benefits upon reaching NG+, since all the enemies are harder than my other NG+ character, but I'm receiving roughly 15% less runes despite it being more difficult.
What's going on?
AnonymousIn shadow of the Erdtree, how does NG+ effect the DLC. Is it the same as base game? Thank you

AnonymousYou have conflicting info, you note the patch that made bell bearings turned into the twin maiden husk stay, but you still say those things are lost when going into ng+

AnonymousSo at NG+7 stance breaking build need to do 66,(6)% more stance damage but bleed build needs to do only 9% more status build up. Also since bleed deals percentage damage and enemies have 45+% more health it actually becomes more effective. Very unfair compared to base difficulty.

AnonymousDo the scadutree fragments respawn in the ng+ even if you collected them? Iam level 18 and dont want to check which ones iam missing so i hope i can get easy to 20 with the ones in ng+

Anonymous
Anonymousjust me or the scaling for ng+ in DLC is much higher than base game? i was expecting it to be easy starting it with 18 scadutree blessing, but everything is still two shotting me

AnonymousIt's hilarious that NG+ enemy damage scaling has been bugged since launch. From Software is the new Bethesda when it comes to bug fixing.

Anonymous
AnonymousDoes the DLC scale rune drop with NG+1? Seems like it should, but I'm getting the same amount of runes that a first playthrough gets.

AnonymousIt took me so much time to finish my first playthough, and I stopped playing so many times, that I am enjoying NG+ a lot just by revisiting the beggining of the games actually knowing how to play and what I am doing. But I can see a seasoned Souls player, or even someone who powered through the game, not finding NG+ very appealing.

AnonymousAll of my characters are ng+ am I cooked for the dlc? Or do I level up my level one character cuz I've already killed all the bosses

Anonymous
Anonymouspeople say the DLC is meant for the endgame and I've seen comments saying level 100-130 or up to 150 is ideal, but even if you exceed that it still will probably be pretty hard
I started NG+ on like 175 because I wanted to cosplay as Radagon , now it's kinda ****ed because I can't go back lol, so I will most probably just start the DLC on a slightly increased difficulty (mind you this is my first souls-like)
Anonymous
Anonymoushow do i tell what ng level my character is on? its been a while and i forget

Anonymousi hope there is a mod to eliminate the poise dmg reduction
given how quickly it regens, and how significant breakpoints r, it quickly renders the stance mechanic completely useless
journey 8 u need to do almost twice as much poise dmg? probably more due to partial regen, and higher enemy attack rate too... come on
AnonymousThe poise damage debuff starting in NG+2 does get annoying, but it makes sense. Enemies have much more HP and defense in NG+7, and it's not likely you're doing that much more damage than you were whenever your build hit its peak in NG or NG+1. While it's not an exact science, less poise damage per attack over la longer battle should mean a similar number of total stance breaks. I think they just didn't want 50% more staggering to occur because a boss now has that much more HP to work through.

AnonymousQuestion: Sorry if i just missed it but do talismans scale like in dark souls NG+?

AnonymousThe 40% stance damage reduction on +7 is a bit crappy, if the Physick tear completely negated that I wouldn't even be mad as it'd be a pretty neat counter to a hard mode buff to all enemies and bosses, but alas it only grants 30% more Stance damage for 30 seconds.
However, add Cragblade on top of that and you also get another 10%, making it 40% in total.
Completely negating the +7 stance resistance for half a minute with both active.
AnonymousIt is SO STUPID that previously activated summoning pools get disabled when you go into NG+. I really enjoy the quick-play like option of the "near and far" feature, but it feels awful essentially losing quick-play just to reset your solo world.

AnonymousMy incentive for Ng+ in previous games has always been the red phantoms. New enemy locations.. without it then it's pointless. I'm just asking to get one shot by everything. Melania still isn't defeated to say the least.

AnonymousNG+ should enable player get invade in solo as well. you have max flask , all item , spell , etc.
just add more cooldown than co-op invade.
AnonymousI wish ER had better incentives to play NG+. Right now it's being able to get two of a unique weapon so you can powerstance them, that's it.
Admittedly, I think it's harder to make open-world non-linear games as replayable. With a linear game, you MUST defeat these enemies to move forward, so there's a clear objective and reward for playing. I also think we're overpowered in NG+. It's fun to start a new game and wreck these enemies that gave you so much trouble before, but that fun doesn't last long... It's not fun to no longer have obstacles.
Dark Souls 2, for all its faults, did NG+ right. There were new invaders, a few fun boss change-ups, and new weapons via new boss soul drops.
It would be great if ER made a small DLC that made NG+ more than just doubling unique weapons and PS achievement hunting.
AnonymousWhy does the chart show enemies having less resistance in NG+2 onward. That can't be correct

Quick question does anyone here run the wiki? If so their missing a slot in new game+ scaling (aside from DLC) Volcano Manor/North Caelid does not show on the NG+ scaling table
