Messmerfire Grease is a Consumable Item in Elden Ring. It is a brand new Consumable Item in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC. Most Consumables grant various effects such as restorative properties for recovering HP, removing certain negative status effects or applying temporary buffs and debuffs, while others can be thrown at enemies to deal damage.

Where to find Messmerfire Grease in Elden Ring
- Belurat Tower Settlement: From the second fountain, turn back and move forward. Enemies will attack you from a bridge, turn right as soon as you can. You will find two shadow enemies. You will then find another Messmerfire Grease nearby. [Video Location] [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map]
- Belurat Tower Settlement: Descend the ladder near the second fountain to the sewers, and turn left. There are 2 shadow enemies. Just across the enemies, you'll find a Messmerfire Grease on top of the pile of corpses. [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map] [Video Location]
- From the First Rise Site of Grace, just follow the path heading East and beside the big archway door is a the item. [See Shadow of the Erdtree Map]

Normal Grease works for 60 seconds and the drawstring lasts for 25 seconds

Seems to always add a flat 168 damage. Changed various stats and saw no difference. Fire Scorpion Talisman increased the added damage to 188.
