Anonymousi wish we would have got a ghostflame variant, it would have been awesome. like inflicting a different type of cold or something. Like "Bone gnawing cold" that would also do direct hit to someone's stamita and do even more damage aganist bosses.

AnonymousAnother one can be found in Forbidden Lands on a corpse under a tree to the left of the stairs just before the Grand Lift of Rold

AnonymousThis should be craftable with either 1x Rimed Crystal Bud, or 3x Crystal Bud. Because by the time you get the ability to craft these, you're short on Rimed Buds early that your uses are finite, and completely outclassed by the fact you get Freezing Armament in Liurnia. And with how good Freezing Pots are, you'd be mad to craft these instead within the 1st half of the game.

AnonymousThis is the exact same as the Frozen Armament spell....but this doesnt cost 20 FP? .....OK.

AnonymousI think it's similar to Frozen Armament which gives a buildup of (48) frostbite. It seems to take 3-4 hits to proc on a baemore.

Anonymous
Anonymousanybody know how much frost buildup it puts on a weapon? it doesnt say in status or inventory when buffed like where it says with cold infusion/ bleed etc

AnonymousIs there a merchant who sells this or do I gotta just farm materials

Anonymoushow mutch this gives freezing buildup vs cold infusion on weapon?

Anonymous
AnonymousNo one is talking about this, but I can confirm that Frost Grease can slow down bosses.

AnonymousYou can craft these by getting the glintstone cookbook [2] which can be found right next to the Laskyar Ruins site of grace.

Unironically the best weapon to put Freezing Grease on is any weapon that has innate Bleed that is still buffable. Get in enough hits and you'll proc both Status effects eventually for some big chunks of damage, obsiouly the Bloodhound's fang is a good choice, but the best is probably the Scavenger's Curved Sword. if only this was renewable before reaching Consecrated Snowfields, you'd be able to take advantage of it for more boss fights... but hey, you can get 39 of them before then, so ideally that's 39 boss fights if you use them optimally and don't waste any by dying or wasting them on weak enemies.
