It's a shame that this set being almost the only cool looking one for a mage can be earned pretty late, most of the rest of robe sets are not cool or look more like priest sets. Dark Souls 3 had way better options even in early game.

The Zamor Bracelets and Legwraps go well with this set, especially if you're going for some heretical sorceress / necromancer cosplay. The cloth on the bracelets and legwraps are darkened which match the Robe and Hood, and the shackle on the left arm can kind of play into the headcanon of being imprisoned for heretical magic. Additionally, the Legwraps give you a small loincloth, a good replacement for the currently unavailable deathbed smalls - if you're into that sort of thing.

It's very disappointing that for the Deathbed companion, steeped in Death and with the Deathrune, this set does not increase the rather Mid Death sorceries.

It would have been extra fitting too, considering the "Death-Price" mentioned a lot around Fia and the Death sorceries (such as the Death-Prince's Staff) is Godwyn, the person she lays with to create the complete Rune of Destined Death.

It would have been a nice touch.

I didn't get the set from Round Table hold, I got it at the Arena where Fia sat in Deep Root Depths. I think the location changes depending if you gave D's brother his armor set or not. If you do, the next time you go to the arena, Fia's is dead and D's brother killed him. Where she is is her set, and if you come back again, D's armor, and a sword, is there.
