If you are a Meathead Vagabond like me like me, but still want to farm for this item and others like this...

      Sacred Relic Sword requires
      14 STR
      24 DEX
      22 FAI

You've probably had 9 FAI all game, so you need 13 more FAI

      Using just Talismans & GR...
      +5 Marika's Soreseal or +3 Marika's Scarseal
      +5 Two Finger's Heirloom
      +5 Godrick's GR

OR if you don't mind using Physick during farming
      +10 Faith-Knot Crystal Tear
      +5 Godrick's GR

Seconding the Fissure Depths. Sacred Relic's Sword AoW is good, but some of the animals are small and it misses. 3 Gravitas AoWs cover all of them without missing (and is very easy to get early game, even if Fissure Depths is not)

Fissure Depths in the DLC is also a decent spot to farm this among other things like four-toed fowl foot, slumbering egg, budding horn and very rarely nectarblood burgeon

Best place to farm this is right at the Craftsman's Shack in Mt. Gelmir (directly under Volcano Manor near Azur).

3 large packs of sheep right in front of the grace, can cast a fully charged dragon's breath to wipe out the two packs on your right, then deal with the pack to your left. Make sure you don't get too close or they will all scatter, so just kill them from a distance. Also a great place to farm Budding Horns if you need them, I suppose.

Once again all craftable items need to be available in shop by end game at least farming this stuff is tedious AF come on fromsoft ffs.

@craftsman's shack using radahn's starscourge GS you can reliably kill all 3 groups of sheep including the demi-humans, group by group.
Ride/run into the center of each group and use L2(use follow up in the 2 big groups with demi-humans if you're low level).
Even if you have 0 points invested in str you can use this GS with soreseal, heirloom, str-knot tear and dual wielding will allow you to use the L2

these are pretty bad compared to using spells. i guess they can be handy for those who dont invest in faith

Craftsman's Shack + Gravitas. Run into a crowd of them, use Gravitas, and it catches most of the ones who tried to roll away.

Ancestral Woods: Hug the right side and there's ~8 Deer trapped on a cliff that you can farm easily even without AOE. Nothing agros either so you can shortcut back to the bonfire within 30 seconds. (Back -> Y -> A -> A)

Why the heck are these so dang rare. Even killing the dozen animals next to Craftsman Shack with 70 arcane AND a Silver Pickled Foot doesn't guarantee a drop. At most you get 2 or 3 out of the 20 sheep, sometimes none. I was sure there'd be a ball bearing for this but alas....

                        • Anonymous

not sure if there's a bell bearing for these, but the craftmans shack site of grace in Mt. Gelmir has like 20 sheep right beside it, if you're looking to farm them the sacred relic sword's skill is very good for quickly killing them all
