Yesterday at the R42 | Games Hub & Accelerator in Leipzig, Appsfactory officially became a founding member of the Unternehmensverband Digitalwirtschaft Sachsen e.V. This alliance unites the region’s leading owner-managed companies to give our digital industry a strong, independent voice. What makes this movement so significant is its scale: together, our founding member companies already employ over 1,500 digital experts. This isn't just a network; it is a collective of "makers" moving beyond "Hidden Champion" status to lead the future of our region. We were honored to have Minister President Michael Kretschmer join us for the founding ceremony to support this initiative. Representing Appsfactory on-site, our CTO Dr. Rolf Kluge emphasized our shared mission to strengthen the digital sovereignty of Saxony. For us, this is about ensuring our region is recognized globally as a digital pioneer-building an environment where entrepreneurship and cutting-edge software go hand in hand.
