Housing Guide | Crimson Desert Wiki

From Crimson Desert Wiki

Housing Guide for Crimson Desert is a page dedicated to the ins and outs of Housing in the game. The house is the player's personal space that can be decorated freely. The house feature is unlocked by progressing the story, where Kliff is granted a property to gather his comrades, the Greymanes. This area is called the Howling Hill, located south of the capital of Hernand. The player will find a single house built near the clifftops, which can be decorated with items that can be found throughout Pywel.

How to Unlock Housing in Crimson Desert

Player housing becomes available by progressing the main quest the First Step to Rebuilding, where you will be granted an audience with the Marquis Serkis. In this chapter, you will be granted a property called the Howling Hill, a place where the Greymanes can rebuild their fallen stronghold. Shortly after, you will be escorted by a soldier to this property, located south of the City of Hernand.

Once you arrive at Howling Hill, you will be greeted by Barden Middler, who is currently overseeing the preparations of the property. In the same cutscene, he will also introduce you to Damiane, the second playable character in Crimson Desert. Once you regain control of your character, the quest will be marked as completed, and you can now visit your house at the hilltop. Before you proceed, you can find Luke in the camp to learn about his request. He will tell you the location of the abandoned house, and will ask you to put the flower basket to freshen up the place. You can see the house at the hilltop, just beyond the area where you talked to Luke.

Once you enter the house, you will get a tutorial about Home Decoration, a feature that lets you place installable objects into a house with 3 rooms. The house is empty except for some modest furniture, like a bed and some tables. Return to Luke to progress the quest, and this will fully unlock the abandoned house at the cliff top as your new home.
