Bosses | Crimson Desert Wiki

From Crimson Desert Wiki

Bosses in Crimson Desert are formidable enemies that serve as major milestones throughout your gameplay. These bosses are often significantly stronger and tougher to defeat compared to normal enemies that you may encounter; they have a more distinguishable weapon, unique attack patterns, and larger health pools. Bosses are typically encountered through pursuing quest objectives, and may generously reward you or forge a strong connection with a faction that you can take advantage of later in the game after killing the boss. This page covers a list of available Bosses in Crimson Desert.

Crimson Desert Bosses Guide

Bosses's Attack Types in Crimson Desert

There are a few common offensive mechanics that you will easily notice while in combat with Bosses. The most basic one would be their Primary Attack, which is an offensive move that bosses use the most often in combat, and in most cases do not take much time to recover. These attacks come out swiftly, and won't give you much time to counterattack and the best defensive moves that you can do is to block it with your shield, or evade it through side step or back slide away from the foe.

Another common offensive technique would be the Heavy Attack, where the boss takes a bit of time to charge their offensive move and attempt to strike you with a powerful blow, inflicting massive damage. A good counter measure to take note of with Heavy Attacks is the proper timing of interrupting while the boss is charging its attack. Some of these attacks may be interrupted, such as the Two-Hand Sword Strike of the Staglord. However, if the timing is bad, it is recommended to rather evade it by keeping a safe distance from the direction of the boss, and then re engage in combat and do a counter attack once he takes a second or two in recovering from the heavy attack.

How to Identify Bosses in Crimson Desert

The bosses in Crimson Desert can be identified quickly through the huge HP bar on the top of the screen, beside their name. All bosses have an intro dialogue too, before you engage to them. Typically, bosses may have 2 HP bars for you to take out (Blue, Red). Some bosses though may have a different HP mechanics, like the Staglord that has 3 HP bars, and should be shown to you as you engage in battle with the boss.
