Sunken Pylon is a Location in Code Vein 2. In the Sunken Pylon, the player will encounter memories of Josee Anjou contained in Bonds, wherein they will witness what happened to her and Lise in the past. Players will also have to face the Metagen Remnant boss in the Sunken Pylon. See Code Vein 2 Map.

Dream Sequence
Exit the lift, and a cutscene will play out with your character being afflicted by a curse. You will then be transported to a dream sequence with Josee Anjou and Lise. Follow the path ahead of you to find both Josee and Lise — approach them and listen to their conversation until they disappear. Follow the path that emerges to witness another conversation, then repeat it until you get to Josee standing by a closed door.
Talk to Josee, and she will ask if you created this place filled with her memories. Choose any of the dialogue options to continue, then head through the door after your conversation with Josee. You will be transported back to the Sunken Pylon, and you will regain control of your character. Use the Mall Below the Pylon Mistle to save your progress, then head down the stairs on the left side.
When you reach a fork in the path, turn right and cross the bridge. Then, make a right again to find a chest in a dead-end — open it to obtain a Power Shot, then make your way back and enter the kitchen with a Decayed Revenant guarding the doorway. Defeat the revenants in the area, then pick up the Ground Meat in the left corner of the room.
Go through the arch and down one flight of stairs to find another room with a revenant having a tantrum by the middle pillar. Defeat the enemy, then pick up a Mask of Gula Fragment (Small). Then, pick up the Tender Crimson Stone 2 by the large windows. Jump down the opening behind the middle pillar, and you will have to face two Decayed Revenants and an Exiled Bloodkin. Loot the room for Eggs, Ground Meat, and an Exiled Bloodkin Fang once the area is clear.
Exit the room and cross the bridge for a cutscene with the projection of Lise. Proceed near the doorway, then make a left to find a Tender Crimson Stone 2 by the ledge. Before proceeding through the doorway, go through the opposite side first to find two Werebeasts inside a room. Lure the enemies outside the room, one at a time. Once the werebeasts are defeated, head to the right of the entrance to find an escalator that leads to an Inhibit Vaccine. Go back up and head inside the room, then go through the doorway and up the stairs.
Move up one flight of stairs, then enter the room by the landing to find a large enemy by the shelf in the middle. Defeat the enemy, then pick up the Uncanny Stone in the far right corner of the room. As you pick up the stone, defeat the revenant that charges at you. Once you are done exploring the area, head back out of the building and enter the doorway near the bridge you crossed earlier.
Follow the path until you get to an area with a doorway on the left and a staircase on the right — you may go through either of the two paths, as it will lead to the same area. If you go up the stairs, you can clear the walkway filled with long-range enemies. Then, you can defeat the Exiled Bloodkin enemies below, which will be easier as you will not be evading ranged attacks from above.
Sunken Pylon Library
Once the area is clear, follow the path until you reach the center again, but in a different section. Head inside the room that looks like a library, which will be filled with enemies. Pick up the Lost Broadsword by the shelf on the left, then clear the level you are currently in. Go up the stairs in the middle, then defeat the enemy facing away from you, along with another enemy that inflicts Toxic Venom. This enemy can throw fireballs at you, so be on the lookout for its attacks and wait for your turn to retaliate. Once they are defeated, pick up the De-Snare in the corner of the room near the stairs, then head back down. Make your way to the lower level, then pick up the Stall Vaccine behind the shelf in front of the stairs.
Shortcut Access to Mistle
Defeat the two enemies in the middle of the room, then head out through the doorway and into the area with escalators. Follow the path down to find a lift at the end of the path. Before going inside the lift, head to the path on the left and pick up the Pure Platinum 1. Use the lift to go up, then pick up the Hound by the railing in front of you. Then, follow the path on the left side of the lift and unlock it to open a shortcut leading back to the Mall Below the Pylon Mistle. Use the Mistle to rest and save your progress, then use the lift to return to the lower level.
Exit the lift, then follow the path on the right, where you picked up the Pure Platinum 1. When you get to the bottom of the stairs, interact with the Bond on the right to follow it, and you will enter another dream sequence in Josee's memory. Keep following the path until you get to another door to exit the dream sequence, then finish your conversation with Josee to unblock the path.
Make your way through the path, then make a right and cross the pipe that serves as a bridge. Pick up the Pure Platinum 2 at the dead end, then return to the path. This time, follow the path ahead of you, then go through the doorway to encounter a Mask of Gula. Defeat the enemy, then make your way to the bottom while defeating more of the same enemies.
When you get to the bottom, defeat the Decayed Revenant guarding the double doorway, then proceed outside. Follow the path going forward to find another doorway and a Map Jammer on the left — destroy the jammer, then head inside the room to fight a Decayed Revenant. Once it is defeated, you will receive the Key to the Lower Levels. Open the door behind the initial location of the revenant, then use the lift to go down.
Exit the lift after reaching the bottom to find another Bond blocking the path. Before proceeding, pick up the Tender Crimson Stone 2 on the right side, by a stack of boxes. Interact with the Bond to be transported inside Lise's memory, then keep following the path to reach the end of the Bond.
Sunken Plant
Once you have exited the Bond, head down the escalators on the right to find a Mistle at the bottom. Interact with it to activate the Sunken Plant Mistle and to save your progress. When ready, proceed through the path to get to the plant. Explore the left side and defeat the enemy on the left side, then pick up the Golden Nectar nearby. Then, defeat the Mask of Invidia by the nectar along with the Exiled Bloodkin. Pick up the Pure Platinum 3 and Binding Weapon Salve by the boxes in the corner, then follow the path to get to the right side of the area and pick up another Pure Platinum 3 nearby.
Go through the path with the beams in the middle to progress through the Sunken Plant. Follow the stairs going down to find a Tender Crimson Stone 3 on top of a box along the hallway, then keep going until you reach a walkway with an exploding Resurgent Aberration guarding the area. Defeat it, then move away from it as it dies as it will generate a small explosion. Be careful as you traverse this area, as you can fall to a submerged area filled with enemies and loot. You can find loot such as a Stalling Weapon Salve, a Bloodguard Runeleaf, and a Tender Crimson Stone 3, below, along with Breath of Venom contained inside a chest guarded by a Succubus. If you decide to go down, or if you fall down accidentally, make your way up and follow the walkway until you reach doorways with red lights above them.
Go through the doorway, defeat the two Aberration, then pick up the Vascular Weapon Salve as you go around the walkway. Keep following the path past the doorway to find an Exiled Bloodkin patrolling the area along with a Cultist that can drop a Cultist's Ritual Blade weapon. Go through the path after defeating them while picking up loot such as an Anti-Slow, Pure Platinum 3, and a Tender Crimson Stone 2. Defeat the Mask of Gula guarding the far end of the area, then follow the stairs going up. Head past the doorway for a cutscene with Lise suddenly appearing, and you will be transported to another Bond sequence.
Boss Fight: Metagen Remnant
After the Bond sequence is finished, head up the stairs and throught the narrow path to reach the Aquarium Mistle — activate it and use it to prepare and rest up, then go to the middle of the open area for a cutscene with the boss of the area, the Metagen Remnant. The Metagen Remnant can perform ranged attacks if you decide to stay away from it, such as unleashing a barrage of fire balls and zoning blasts around it. It can also use its giant arms to crush you or slam it towards the ground to hit a small area around it. For a comprehensive guide on the Metagen Remnant, you may head to this page.
Once the Metagen Remnant is defeated, you will receive the Guardian's Heart blood code along with the Glutton's Eyes Rune Blades and key item. You will then be transported to the next location, Josee's Outpost.
