In the spirit of Earth Month, we're looking back at one of our favorite days on the ground when our team partnered with Holder Construction, the Fruit Tree Planting Foundation and Spaces of Opportunity to plant more than 50 fruit and nut trees in South Phoenix. As these trees continue to grow, they will provide free fresh produce for local families, create hands-on learning opportunities, and serve as a long-term resource for the community. Being part of the communities where we operate matters. Partnerships like this help create meaningful, lasting impact. https://lnkd.in/gF5R8hGc #EarthMonth #CommunityImpact #Sustainability #GivingBack #MorethanMegawatts

Powering What's Next, Protecting What Matters.
Sobre nosotros
We build, own, and operate data centers that power the AI, cloud, and enterprise systems modern businesses and communities depend on. Data center demand is accelerating — but scale alone isn't the answer. The organizations that will define this industry are those that can deliver capacity responsibly: efficiently designed, community-integrated, and built to evolve with infrastructure needs. What we do: We develop and operate modular data center campuses optimized for high-density workloads, including AI and hyperscale compute. Our facilities are engineered for energy efficiency, operational reliability, and long-term scalability — designed to meet the demands of today's workloads while adapting to tomorrow's. How we work: We take a collaborative approach to every market we enter — working directly with municipalities, utilities, and first responders before, during, and after deployment. That coordination isn't just good practice; it's how we ensure each facility is genuinely supported by the infrastructure and communities around it. Why it matters: Digital infrastructure is local infrastructure. The grid capacity, zoning relationships, emergency response alignment, and community trust that surround a data center are just as important as what's inside it. We invest in both. For our team: Our operations, engineering, and development professionals work in an environment built around safety, continuous improvement, and solving problems that matter at scale. #DataCenters #DigitalInfrastructure #AIInfrastructure #CloudComputing #HyperscaleCompute #CommunityDevelopment #DataCenterDevelopment #Colocation #EnterpriseInfrastructure

You can learn a lot about a company by how its people lead. Bill Cronin spent 21 years in the Navy. Today, he brings that same discipline and mindset into data center operations—showing up when it counts, staying steady under pressure, and keeping people at the center of it all. What stands out isn’t just the work. It’s how he approaches it. Making sure his team has what they need. Treating people with respect, no matter their role. Because in this industry, systems matter—but people keep everything running. If you’re considering a path into data center operations, especially from the military, this is a story worth watching. https://lnkd.in/eSps9MJ5

In a recent article with the Dallas Business Journal, our Chief Technology Officer, Michael Welch, shares how rising AI demand is changing what it takes to deliver data center infrastructure today. That shift isn’t just about speed or scale. It’s about the people behind it. Every campus requires skilled trades, engineers, technicians, and local partners to bring it to life and keep it running. As demand accelerates, so does the need to invest in those pipelines and create long-term opportunities in the markets where we build. That includes Dallas and the broader Texas market, where talent, energy, and capital are coming together to support one of the fastest-growing digital infrastructure hubs in the country. Alongside that, our approach continues to focus on: • Designing for flexibility as workloads and density evolve • Scaling capacity without losing efficiency or reliability • Using modular construction to accelerate delivery timelines • Building in a way that supports both customers and the communities around our campuses The pace of demand isn’t slowing down. Delivering against it requires a different approach than what the industry has relied on in the past. We’re built for what comes next. https://lnkd.in/etMXKZ6C

The pace of AI infrastructure buildout isn’t slowing. At #DCDConnect New York, Phill Lawson-Shanks spoke about what many in the industry are seeing firsthand. Demand is surging, but constraints are real. Power availability. Workforce gaps. Location limitations. There’s also a shift happening in how data centers engage with communities. It’s not enough to build capacity. There’s an expectation to show up as a long-term partner, to be transparent, and to align with what communities actually need. The question isn’t just how fast we can scale. It’s how we do it in a way that holds up over time.

Grid constraints don’t have to limit growth—they just require a different approach. In Hillsboro, our BESS project at PDX-01 reflects a shift away from traditional procurement models toward deeper, earlier collaboration with utilities and partners. The result is a more grid-flexible approach to digital infrastructure—one that helps unlock capacity, maintain reliability during peak demand, and better align with how energy is actually delivered. This isn’t just about deploying new technology. It’s about rethinking how projects get done—and who’s at the table from day one. Take a look at how it came together. #EnergyInfrastructure #BESS #DataCenters #GridResilience #Sustainability Calibrant Energy Joanna Soucy Matt Chambliss, CPA ARCO/Murray Portland General Electric Matt Barnes

Data center safety is built just as much outside the building as it is within it. It depends on strong relationships with local responders, shared training, and ongoing coordination. At Aligned, data center safety starts with partnership. That means working closely with fire departments, emergency responders, and local leaders — beginning before a facility opens — to ensure our facilities are understood for when it matters most. From joint training exercises in Northlake, Illinois to ongoing collaboration with responders in Elk Grove Village and across our campuses, these relationships are built over time — not in moments. Because when operators and first responders train together, response is faster, coordination is stronger, and communities are better supported. Infrastructure only matters when it shows up—on time, at scale, and ready for what’s next. With the close of a $2.58B credit facility, Aligned Data Centers is expanding its ability to deliver capacity where and when it’s needed most. Across the U.S., demand for AI, cloud, and HPC workloads continues to accelerate. Meeting that demand requires more than a strong development pipeline—it requires capital structures that move at the same pace. As Meghan Baivier shared, this facility introduces greater flexibility into how later-stage assets are financed—helping translate progress on paper into operational capacity in the field. Every advancement in AI, every cloud deployment, every high-performance workload depends on infrastructure being ready at the right moment. That’s what we’re focused on enabling. What is a data center? We asked—and got some thoughtful answers. Close, but not always the full picture. Data centers don’t just store data. They power the everyday moments people rely on—from video calls with family to ordering groceries to the tools local businesses use to run. They’re the backbone of digital infrastructure. That’s why International Data Center Day matters. It’s about building a clearer understanding of what data centers enable—and opening the door to the opportunities behind them. As demand grows, so does the need for talent. Bringing more people into the industry starts with awareness of the work, the roles, and the innovation happening across it. #InternationalDataCenterDay #DataCenters #DigitalInfrastructure #STEM #WorkforceDevelopment 7x24 Exchange International

Inspiring the next generation of talent is at the heart of what we do — and our teammates are leading the way. Katelyn Doersam, Quality and Commissioning Manager at Aligned recently spoke to a group of young women at a local vocational school who are exploring careers in construction. Their curiosity and confidence left a mark, and conversations like this are how we build the workforce pipeline our industry needs. Katelyn is currently supporting work in the Conesville market — and she's proof that the people building data centers today are shaping who builds them tomorrow. Thank you, Katelyn! #InternationalDataCenterDay #WomenInConstruction #WorkforceDevelopment #DataCenters

As our industry continues to grow, the conversation around the workforce is already front and center. A recent CNBC article adds an important layer, highlighting women working across skilled trades, from plumbing to diesel mechanics to HVAC, and the paths they’re building in these careers. What stood out most was why they choose this work and continue to grow in it. Stability. Strong earnings. Clear progression. Work that’s hands-on and essential. That matters for our industry. Every data center depends on skilled trades. As demand continues to rise, so does the need for a strong, sustainable pipeline of talent. That includes continuing to expand awareness of these careers and creating more pathways for the next generation to step in. It’s something we see firsthand across the teams building and operating our campuses. There’s real momentum here, and it’s exciting to see where it goes. https://lnkd.in/g-nv4-iU
