Spanish indie studio Firenut Games and Digital Dreams have released a brand-new gameplay trailer for the upcoming psychological survival horror game Baptiste, which blends the atmospheric tension of games like Layers of Fear with a terrifying doll ready to rival the likes of Annabelle. Baptiste’s narrative-driven adventure is led by Tom, a child who naively frees an eerie doll from its display case, unknowingly kicking off a fear-soaked journey riddled with emotional scars and devastating events.
Players will need to explore an ominous mansion and piece together clues while solving puzzles to uncover the dark secrets behind the titular doll Baptiste. Instead of simple jumpscares, the game utilizes psychological tension and emotional depth to examine a descent into madness, as a fragile mind is placed under extreme distress and human vulnerability is brought to the forefront of nightmarish trauma.
Baptiste is scheduled to launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch 2, and PC via Steam later in 2026.
