The market is busy right now— my clients are hiring, but strong candidates are still hard to find. Here are the 5 roles I’m seeing the most demand for: 1️⃣ Civil / Municipal Engineers – driven by major infrastructure investment 2️⃣ Project Engineers / Project Managers – critical for delivering complex projects 3️⃣ Structural Engineers – especially buildings + infrastructure 4️⃣ Mechanical & Electrical Engineers – strong demand across energy and industrial 5️⃣ Environmental Engineers – particularly contaminated sites & remediation Across the board, companies are prioritising experienced engineers who can lead projects and communicate with clients.
