  • At Carmeuse, we believe that staying connected to our operations and the dedicated individuals behind them is vital to our success. That’s why our North American teams have embraced a quarterly No Meeting Day, allowing employees from all levels and functional groups across Carmeuse to step away from their desks and engage directly in the field alongside site teams and management. Launched in May 2024 with a focus on safety, this initiative has evolved into a structured opportunity for employees to voice concerns, share innovative ideas, and challenge the status quo. Leadership teams use this day to listen actively, understand operational challenges, and collaborate on practical improvements with those who know the processes best. Site Operations Managers collect all feedback and proposals raised during these sessions, ensuring that progress is reviewed in subsequent meetings. This commitment to transparency helps ensure every voice is heard and that suggestions lead to tangible action. By fostering a culture of collaboration, ownership, and continuous improvement, we empower our employees to shape the future of our operations. We extend our gratitude to all teams participating in No Meeting Day. Your openness and dedication are essential to the meaningful discussions and advancements that follow. At Carmeuse, we believe that our strength lies in our people. In this edition of our Carmeuse Insights, we are shining a spotlight on Ayesha Sur, who joined Carmeuse India a little over a year ago, and in that time she has been part of something exciting: the launch and growth of our newly established IT Hub. In our latest article, she talks about her journey, what it has been like to help build a team from the ground up, and what makes Carmeuse India a unique place to work. But beyond the professional story, Ayesha shares what drives her, what she loves outside of work, and the advice she would give to anyone considering joining us. If you are curious about life at Carmeuse India, or if you know someone who might be the right fit for our Indian team, this one is for you. 👉 Read the full article on our website: link in the comments. #Carmeuse #CarmeuseInsights #ITHub #EmployeeStories #PeopleOfCarmeuse

  • 🌿 Today is World Biodiversity Day and for us at Carmeuse, it's personal We work with natural resources every day. The minerals we extract are then used across industries that shape the modern world. That's precisely why we take our responsibility to give back seriously. Our quarries are more than extraction sites, they form habitats where an abundant number of species can develop. We run programs that bring wildlife back. We've partnered with the Royal Belgian Institute of Natural Sciences for 30 years to protect vulnerable bird species that have found in our quarries the right conditions to thrive, including the Grand Duc owl, a species that had completely disappeared from Belgium. This year's theme, "Acting locally for global impact", is one we recognize from our own work. Change doesn't start at the global summit. It starts in a quarry, in a reforested hillside, in a pond where wildlife returns. We borrow from the land. We owe it our best efforts to restore it. • Behind every acquisition, there is a story worth telling. When we announced that Unicalce had become a fully owned member of the Carmeuse Group, we shared the news. Today, we want to share the story. A century of industrial history rooted in northern Italy. A partnership between Carmeuse and Unicalce that spans nearly 30 years. A team of 500 dedicated people across 12 production sites. And a shared vision for what comes next, for our customers, our communities, and the Italian lime market. In our latest article of the Carmeuse Insights, we take a closer look at what makes Unicalce a remarkable company, what this integration means in practice, and why we believe the best chapter of this story is still ahead of us. 👉 Read the full article on our website: link in comments. #CarmeuseInsights #acquisitions #CommittedToGrowth

  • No Meeting Day: Back to the Field, Back to What Matters On April 23, 2026, we cleared our calendars to reconnect with the heartbeat of our operations. In a world where schedules fill up quickly, it is vital to step back and return to what truly matters: our people and our sites. What began in May 2024 as a commitment to safety has grown into a quarterly tradition of listening, asking questions, and exploring improvement ideas together. This is not just a day away from the office; it is a real engine for continuous improvement where site managers collect feedback and follow up on progress to ensure our ideas turn into results. Why We Head to the Field: • Meaningful Connection: We are trading meeting invites for genuine exchanges with our colleagues on-site. • Direct Problem Solving: By engaging directly with operations, we can identify solutions and take ownership of concrete actions. • Building Our Culture: These moments foster the collaboration, safety, and passion that define our team. By prioritizing field engagement, we ensure that every voice is heard and every safety concern is addressed. Let’s focus on solutions and connect as one team. #NoMeetingDay #Carmeuse
