Silence Tips & Notes in BG3
- Silence is a ritual spell which can be cast without expending a spell slot outside combat.
- Useful outside of combat to silence an alarm or counter Harpy charm song, or to silence actions that make noise that might draw unwanted attention, eg. breaking a door or wall, or killing sleeping enemies without waking others.
- Particularly useful against enemy spellcasters.
AnonymousThe Bubble will block other spells trying to pass through it, made the fight in the underdark by the boat a nightmare for our partys mages trying to hang on the high ground

AnonymousThe sussur dagger greatsword and sickle also silence targets on hit

Anonymousi got perma-silenced from silence bubble, cant talk to anyone, long rest doesnt help. what a gamebreaking bug

AnonymousLove this spell!! Made hag fight completely trivial. Skipping all phases as she cant transform. Her melee hits a ton. Up to 30hp dmg. Barbarian can soak it easily. Tactician

AnonymousAnyone knows how to cure this? Cant find anything on google except Long Rest

AnonymousI rath got silenced in the druid's fight against the shadow druids and now he is forever Silenced, and I can't unsilence him to continue my quest with Hausin

AnonymousHarpies on the beach can still Lure you through a sphere of Silence.. So that's a problem

Directly casting this on top of neutral NPCs in Tactician/Honour will make them mad and potentially hostile. But if you cast it just next to them and then they walk into the bubble themselves, they will not be hostile. Useful for planned assassinations while saving spell slots.
