Bhaalist Armour is a Light Armour in Baldur's Gate 3. Light Armour can be equipped to a character's body in their designated inventory slot, providing AC and sometimes special effects. Although heavier armor usually provides more protection, keep in mind they may also hinder your characters' spell casting.
Bhaal, Lord of Murder, was forced to walk the world as a mortal man during a period of history called the Time of Troubles. He was more vulnerable than he had ever been.
But Bhaal was cunning. He had contingencies in case he died.

AnonymousIts geuinely insane how much this single item upends the late game bg3 meta. Martial classes that use the great weapon master trait with a piercing two hand weapon instantly transform into the highest damage builds by an absurd margin. The same applies to duel wielding hand crossbow sharpshooter rogue/ranger/fighters. If equipped on a strength based tavern brawler monk (which is one of the strongest builds in the game before getting this armor) you can use step of the wind - dash to gain near infinite movement with a costless jump and put the +50% piercing damage aura on on every enemy that your two level 11 fighters (in my case lae'zel and a respec'd fighter karlach) will hit. After making sure every character in my party had at least +6 initiative (through the alert perk or the level 3 gloomstalker ranger ability ) my honor mode dark urge run became totally brainless outside of the final fight in the game.

AnonymousFighter[11] with Great Weapon Master, equipping Unseen Menace and Bhaalist Armor, and using Elixir of Cloud Giant Strength. Minimum 3 attacks per round and each attack hits for 50+ dmg. Aura of Murder is an enemy debuff, so your ranged piercing attacks work with it too. Add a Swords Bard with the Titanstring bow, a Berserker/Thief with the Returning Pike, and a Fighter/Thief with hand crossbows and you can reliably deal 700+ dmg/ round. If you're looking for a glitchless easy Honor-mode set for act 3, this is it.

AnonymousSwords Bard, Hand Crossbows or Crossbow of your choice, Crossbow Expert, Sharpshooter, Bhaalist Armor.
Spam Slashing Florish.
Enjoy.
AnonymousI think this is a more than adequate alternate to Potent Robe.
On the Potent Robe page you see lots of people complaining they can't get it because they're being evil.
Well here I am complaining that I have to be evil to get this Armour instead!
All this to say, game's well made, nice rewards for evils, nice rewards for goods, dang I want this armour, guess I gotta make an evil now lol :D
AnonymousFor some reason, it also works on enemies that are resistant to Piercing damage, such as steel watchers.

AnonymousItem is bugged..on changing areas (loading) you must reequip it..very annoying..basically useless..if you forget..otherwise bets armor damagewise for dual wield short swords

AnonymousIs it possible to get the armor if orinn is already dead due to a different playthrough?

AnonymousThis is like the bg3 equivalent of rivers of blood in terms of op nonsense.

AnonymousThis seems like it stops working on reloading. I was wondering why enemies weren't vulnerable when i noticed they didn't have aura of murder. Toggling it off and on again seemed to make them vulnerable.

Anonymousis it just me or do the pants appear to clip through every footwear in the existence?

AnonymousHah, if you toggle the Aura of Murder on, your own party members will run away from you in camp. Thankfully they don't when actually out and about... but everyone ELSE does instead. If you're in anarrow area, it's funny as hell to see a parade of NPCs in a train in front of you.

Anonymousagainst piercing resistant enemies, it simply neutralises the resistance (eg damage is neither halved nor doubled)

Anonymousit says it doesn't work on resistant enemies but it does lol. absolutely broken item. but will probably get bugfixed soon

AnonymousHow I don't see this talked?! This thing is bonkers, it's essencially doubles the damage of melee rogues!

I find this fun to use with the hellfire engine crossbow's reposition malefactor and the crossbow master feat, which lets you grapple enemies and shoot them point-blank like doom eternal's super shotgun
