Belm is one of the Scimitar Weapons in Baldur's Gate 3. Belm is a powerful scimitar that makes its return from previous Baldurs Gate games. In BG3, each type of weapon has different ranges, damages, and other features (Finesse, Versatile, Dippable, etc.). Characters need to master certain Proficiency before using a weapon, and sometimes gain special Actions while holding it.
Faded but still legible, the mark of a Kara-Taranforgemaster adorns the pommel of this exquisite sword. Light as a robin's wing, quick as gnomish wit, this weapon has unseamed many foes - and will continue to, in the correct hands.

AnonymousHi, as warlock, would belm copy the char scale from a main handed pact weapon? I mean, if as warlock im using the reavengard duke sword, the one that gives u +2 to charisma, and i use it as pact weapon... Would belm gives me another +2 to charisma AND add my char instead of strength?

AnonymousJust to clarify for anyone curious, the "Whirlwind attack" that Belm has can only be used once per short rest.

Anonymousremember 10 attacks per rounds with improved haste? I member

Perfectly Balanced Blade effectively duplicates your mainhand weapons attack using a bonus action. So get creative.
Want Heat? Thermodynamo Axe+this.
Want to be invincible? Shattered Flail, Regen Ring, Periapt of Wound Closure+this
Want Lightning charges? Sparkypoints+this
It's not the greatest, but does provide some unique interactions
Anonymousdoes the perfectly balanced strike trigger extra attack? so you can cast some magic, strike and then strike again or something like that

AnonymousBelm is a regular +2 scimitar which allows a once per turn attack with a bonus action

It’s good. Not bad not the greatest but not bad!
Main reason probably it’s still a free weapon really and can obtain early act 3 in the city.
The another thing you may already use the other better options like chaos sword, astral silver sword, balduran slayer! If you go with 3-4 melee warrior character then belm really good!
4 attacks with fighter mean 48 damage per turn and remember you can use shield as well!
Chaos sword deal 60 dmg but without risky ring not sure you will hit 3 times!
But regardless you get some ac and the ability to interrupt extra attacks.
Get the arcane acuity helmet and maximize every turn your arcane acuity and shield bash become 100% successful!
