Where there were 3 edit groups on screen when making an audio track (fx select, mix , key), now there appears to only be 2 (fx select, mix).I noticed that when heading over to select beats pane, the key was listed in the beat description.I hope to the good lord I’m missing seeing how u optimized the chrome and it’s sitting somewhere right front of me…..BCS…if u did away with the ability to set the key , thinking that u would embed the key into the music meta data, and that the vocal fx would automatically set itself based on that key, I cannot stress strongly enough what a bad idea this is. First off , me and quite a lot of folk in the studio where I work use this app to develop melody lines to songs being developed , in my world , no one has any interest in downloading commercial tracks and singing over them. The typical workflow is to use imaschine or iMPC to play a rough beat idea , let it loop indefinately , then head of to Voloco, open the audio sing mode and spend minutes or hours working things out. It is incredibly helpful not to have to load a song and reset it when it’s over. Secondly, very interesting things happen when singing not in the root key but relative keys, and /or limited notes in a scale to create a hardlined auto robot thing for dance. Hopefully I’m saved by washing my glasses and looking again. If not, please consider allowing both options. Worst case , can u help me revert versions.BtW - to all reading, this is a wonderful tool to work with !

We will be moving the key icon back to the original location in our next app update, which is coming very soon. You can still select the key, just the location to change the key has moved! Go to the Edit tab (to get to Edit, tap on icon near center top of screen that looks like a sound wave) and then tap on the clef symbol in the top corner of the screen.
Amazing for recording. Suggestions@DEVS

TLDR. Amazing for Recording. Amazing for finding underground/complete unknown artist. The only Cons. 1.ISSUE FIXED BY DEVS 2. There is a layer limit. You can only have 8 layers per song not counting the beat layer. Depending on your recording style this can be annoying. ((Work around is save project when you reach max layers, assuming it’s to your liking. Save project twice as local files with diff names. Upload one as a new project “DO NOT” separate vocals. Then make more layers. When done, mute the beat on both files and you can export them to track out in other software. (Workaround but not ideal)) 3.Unable to Duplicate a saved project to make a new mix.( There are long and tedious workarounds, but none are as effective or useful as a “Duplicate project” function would be. 4. No custom Voice tunes. Unlike the other adjustable vocal effects (reverb/eco etc) you are unable to really customize the auto tune. You can select from a list of pre made tunes, and you can adjust the level of the correction from 0-100% in 1% increments but you can’t adjust anything else. 5. Unfortunately you can’t manually type setting values and must rely on using the the slideing dot to set the value. Makes it hard to exactly match odd DB levels or other such values when you don’t want to do a edit all. 6. No beat volume adjustments. You can only adjust the volume of the entire beat. You can’t lower or raise the volume of specific sections so you can’t really do cutouts or cut ins the same way you could on other software. 7. No Royalties or payments for creators
Pretty good!

I am a fully blind person, in this app is actually worked pretty well for me. I’ve had it for about three years now, and have been making music on it for that amount of time. Learning how to work it was challenging at first, but once I got to know how to work it I was able to make some pretty high-quality stuff. I bought premium When I was 12. Premium was definitely worth it because there were so many cool effects. Personally worldwide original is my favorite. I didn’t figure out that you were able to master your tracks with premium until like a few days ago. But that has made my tracks so much better and so greater quality too! The only thing or problem I have with the app is this. as a fully blind person, I use a screen reader called VoiceOver on my iPhone. This is not a problem, mostly for Voloco because it is pretty well organized and pretty accessible. I really respect that in an app because it’s very hard to find a music app that is accessible like this! The only problem is that I used to be able to add a vocal air with my voice over. I would scroll up and hit the button. Now, every time I try to add a vocal layer it skips over the button. It will go from the button for it to the button after it, but not to the vocal ear button. At first, I thought it was a glitch, but it’s not going away. I don’t know if this is something you can help me with or if it’s just something on my iPhone, but you might still wanna look into it and you might want to take the accessibility portion in mine so you can make your app even more accessible. a lot of my friends who are blind to use this app and love it, this includes me. Thank you for making an amazing accessible music app! This would easily be five stars if the glitch was fixed.

So, this app is crucial for any rapper or modernistic style vocal artist looking for new ways to record ideas or even create full projects. It’s very easy to use and you can get your music recorded quickly and efficiently with no sacrifice to your sound quality(as long as you have a little prior experience w/ recording). I’ve had a lot of fun with this app and have even recorded some impressive sounding vocals with it. I was having issues with some backing tracks volume during a few recording sessions that I couldn’t seem to get past. I would close out the app and come back to try again later. Sometimes it would work, sometimes it wouldn’t. That was pretty frustrating. Especially when the vocal track came out almost perfect, but couldn’t use it because the backing track would completely smother the vocals. However, I still managed to produce a pretty solid track out of this app and I’m very happy with it. The only other issue I’ve had was trying to upload my song to the app for others to listen to. I got as far as agreeing to legal stuff and hitting upload but nothing ever happened. I’m a little bummed about that because I’m proud of the track and would like to share with other artists for feedback and possible collaboration opportunities. I bought the year subscription so I hope to see these things fixed soon and look forward to completing more projects in the future. Thanks.
