The best tab saver I've found so far

Was a huge OneTab fan on Chrome. Tab Space is pretty solid, works the way I would expect, but some minor issues. One that is annoying, but not critical is that whenever I close all tabs, it fails to open the Tab Space page. It says there is an error, but then I can click "Open Tab Space" and my tabs are there, so at least it saves them, just an extra step to show them again!

I used to keep minimized windows in my dock of Safari pages I wold "immenently" come back to. But that was high risk (because I could lose that state through crashes or accidental closures). I could have the open tabs as a tab group in my favorites (and sometimes do), but then the favorites bar becomes cluttered. This is a fantastic way to group related tabs together (especially when thye're task related) and to see them listed out in list form when looking at the main tab-space page. I espeically appreciate the tagging built right into it. I only wish that this extension worked across devices (i.e., iOS and iPadOS) and sync'ed its info acrsoss them.
Safari's Greatest Missing Feature

I remember back in the day I used a broswer called Camino that saved windows and tabs. But I prefer Safari's native integration, and had to deal with a few sacrifices since switching.Tab Space rectifies one of those sacrifices. It's so simple but so functional. It gives me a happy balance between maintaining a minimal workspace while accessing tons of websites, and saving them since I never have time to go through them all.I saw the developer mention getting a UI designer to spruce up the look which will be nice, but Tab Space perfectly functional as is.My only wish-list consideration is that somehow the webpage for saved tab spaces will be available outside of Safari/Mac, so that I could access them on iOS for example. Even though TS probably couldn't launch windows from the saved tabs on iOS (or could it? maybe on iPad?), it would be helpful to still access the saved links from the TS webpage, since I organize tabs by topic. That would complete the Tab Space experience for me. It would be so much better than using Reading List or iCloud Tabs!

Thanks so much for your positive feedback! A beta version of Tab Space for iOS will soon be available. But on iOS, no matter for saving or opening, it can only handle one tab at a time due to iOS’s limitations, which makes it less useful, in my opinion. It will serve as a good tab viewer for your saved tabs from Mac. But I am thinking about how to make it more useful as a standalone app! 😅
Useful & Easy to Use

It does what I want it to do and even looks nice! My only complaint is that it that I had to give it permission to read all contents from my webpages, which I don't like. I understand that the extension needs to be able to see what tabs I have open, but I would much prefer that it can't see passwords and credit card numbers that I enter on other websites. I would like to know why it is necessary for the extension to work and why it can't use less invasive options.UPDATE: Changing this from 4 to 5 stars because of the developer response. Huge credit to them for actually responding!

Hello! Welcome to ask questions and explore together. Based on the principle of browser extension, Tab Space uses injected scripts in web pages to implement some of its functions. These injected scripts *theoretically* have access to all the information on the web pages, so you can see that most browser extensions are marked as being able to access sensitive information. In order to alleviate users' concerns to the greatest extent possible and prove that our script is only used for tab management-related functions, we have open-sourced this injected script on GitHub(https://github.com/yuanzhoucq/Tab-Space), where you can find more discussions about it and verify it yourself. Thank you for your support and feel free to ask any other questions!
